Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I feel I recived some wrong advise and, feel I should be able to recive my $19.99 back. I talk to Chapli about the problem I was having with my printer. I told him I have a office jet g55 and the scanner does not work. I told him the copier, and the printer do work. He told me that I need to replace the white cable that goes to the scanner, Because it was deffective. He said it would cost about $20.00, and another $40.00 for tech support to walk me through to replace it. So me and a friend who has alot of computer exprencie took the printer apart, and found out that all the cables are togher. I called HP to order the part, and they told me that you can not replace that part that I would need to bye a new printer. Which we did a 6480 model. So all the time that it took to take printer apart and the bad advise I feel I should be able to get my money back. The order department said the tech should have know this and he gave me bad adviser about replacing cable.
