Makes French police car sound every 2 minutes

Every 2 minutes the fax sounds like a French Police Car siren!
We have an activity report that shows every 2 minutes, MODE auto RX I-Fax, PGS. 0, RESULT is NG 0 00'00 #0812.
We have tried everything to stop this repeated activity.

It is trying to resend/receive something. NG means No Good - so the beep is an indicator of the missed-tranmission.

I suspect someone inadvertently setup a pop3 check interval and it cannot connect to the specified mail server.

Check by going to the Data Registration button (flip all the plastic covers over the button pad)
go to additional settings->3.Fax settings->1.user settings->8.Lan settings->Mail User Settings->
SMTP Server->4. check interval

It should say 000MIN

I bet it is set to 2MIN

Hello Hoang Dinh,

You complain DIRECTLY (and PROMPLY)
to your card company...

(on reverse side).

Telling them you want to open a ***** case...

also file a POLICE REPORT
(check out on-line Police Reporting)...

It is not as horrible as it sounds.

Find out who can do something to stop the activities (police, school principal, parents, ...) Call them. Police usually have have an anonymous phone line, if you do not want people to know your identity.

What is the cause of a loud siren noise coming from my engine upon acceleration

Could be a belt, could be almost anything, !

Bring to a technician and have them check for trouble codes.

Not really enough information to give a fix.

I needed to jump start my 09 ninja 650r. I turned on my car connected the cables and touched them to my bike, I heard a spark or click sound and then nothing happened. When I turn the key to the on...

Sorry, no reset.
check all fuse links and fuses, hopefully those went before your chip.

When jumping a bike, connect bike first and disconnect first.

Cobra radar detector

Police usually do not leave their radar guns turned on all of the time. Indeed, most police officers prefer to use the "instant-on" technique to nab speeders. Instant-on works by leaving the radar gun in standby mode (no radar emissions) and then releasing a trigger button to instantly turn on the radar gun to measure a vehicle's speed.

You can check to see if your radar detector is detecting radar by putting it in Highway mode and then driving to a shopping center or other businesss location which has microwave radar automatic door openers. You should get either X band or K band alerts for these microwave automatic door openers. If you do not get any alerts for these door openers, and after having checked a few other locations which have microwave automatic door openers, then this would indicate that your radar detector is defective.
