Every 2 minutes the fax sounds like a French Police Car siren!
We have an activity report that shows every 2 minutes, MODE auto RX I-Fax, PGS. 0, RESULT is NG 0 00'00 #0812.
We have tried everything to stop this repeated activity.
It is trying to resend/receive something. NG means No Good - so the beep is an indicator of the missed-tranmission.
I suspect someone inadvertently setup a pop3 check interval and it cannot connect to the specified mail server.
Check by going to the Data Registration button (flip all the plastic covers over the button pad)
go to additional settings->3.Fax settings->1.user settings->8.Lan settings->Mail User Settings->
SMTP Server->4. check interval

It will depend on which country you live, but in most western countries, if you goto a police station, the officer you address, should help you with writing down the complaint. When you are afraid they won't help, you should ask if and where you can get legal help, also on the police station. Perhaps you even could go to a law firm and ask there where you can get free of cost help for a police complaint.
1. From the Home screen, touch Administration. 2. Touch Information. 3. Touch Fax Reports. 4. Touch one of the following buttons to print the corresponding report: ? Fax Activity Log ? Fax Call Report ? Billing Codes Report ? Blocked Fax List ? Speed Dial List 5. Touch Print. For more information, see the fax guide that came with the device.
You cant have two IMIE numbers for one mobile. There is something wrong. Giving the correct IMEI number to the police you can ask them to tell the service provider to locate the phone. Fixya or anyone can not do anything about. Only the police.
