Question about RCA Televison & Video

Screen Resolution Hi, I have a 22" flat screen tv and I've had it for about 3 years or so. Nothing has ever been wrong with it until now. About two weeks ago, I noticed the top half of my screen becomes really staticy and I can't see the screen. The sound still works and I can still watch tv and movies, but the top half goes out intermittently and makes it really inconvenient. What do you think this is? I've unplugged and plugged back in all the cords. It's definitely not the cable because it does it when I'm using my DVD player. Any help would be great! My roommate and I are down in college and need a TV! Ha ha. This doesn't mean it's breaking, right? Are you ever supposed to replace light bulbs for TV's?

I'm sure this 22" TV is CRT TV and does not have any bulb.
I need to know in detail what kind of noise comes at top half of screen?
Does it shakes or has no picture there?

No signal to monitor

Change video resolution through video card settings not through windows settings. Windows settings can be changed by software to a video resolution not compatible with monitor. Common issue with TV used as monitor or low end flat screen don't have as many resolution options as pc or video card capable of displaying.accassing video card settings is specic to which brand you have but won't look like rt click screen settings video/ windows settings

If the front panel indicator lights, power is getting to your TV. Pushing the power button and getting no results indicates that something is wrong with the internal power supply

My Sansui HD LED TV cuts the border of my frames when I connect my PC

To fix this go into your screen resolution settings on your computer while connected to your TV. Start at the highest possible resolution and keep moving down 1 setting at a time until you get to a setting that fits the screen perfectly.

How to connect acer aspire mini laptop to digital lcd tv?

You get the audio from PC: you must use a separate audio cable to your TV audio input.
Configure your PC Display properties to a lower resolution until you reach a format your tv can display.
If you use a flat digital screen check the manual to know the resolution to be used with VGA input.
Use Dual screen option or swittch main screen/external/both using FN key + blue key showing screen on your keyboard. (F4 or F7? check manual.)

Normal picture mode make the sharper picture quality but smaller screen apparance

If the broadcast is in 4:3 (square) then either you can have the black bars on the side, or the TV can stretch the image to fill the screen.
Nothing wrong with your set. The broadcast must be in 16:9 to fil the screen.
