I got win7 installed on my desktop computer ( mother board msi k8mm-v V1.3) when i want to play games it gives me error message "windows media accelerator"

You need to install all the mainboard/chipset/graphic card drivers.
For the mainboard/chipset drivers, please check
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K8MM-V.html#/?div=Driver

MSI is not prividing the Win7 drivers yet, but you can use the Vista drivers. Select the Vista version (32 bit or 64 bit) to be the same as yout Win7 type (32 or 64 bit)

I cannot play my games after i reformat my computer. its say that i need an directx 8.1 or higher to play my game but i already downloaded directx 11 but is useless. nothing happens. same error message...

click start control panel administrive tools computer management then select event viewer depending on what operating sytem you have this may vary

extend the events there you will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured you might have to uninstall then reinstall the program and its files

If it's a ntdll.dll error the ntdll.dll error only displays when you use a specific software program,

uninstall the program, reboot your computer, and then install the latest version again from scratch.

until you know what the problem is you cant fix it or you might try

you could run the check disk utility

click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive this should schedule to happen
click start control panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart
do not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input will damage your computer
hope this helps
don't forget to vote

when you restart your computer then defragment your hard drive

you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any imput may damage your computer also do not start if there is a possibility of a power failure (storm lighnining)
hope this helps

DOOM won't run in Vista ...what can I do also Duke, Hexen, etc.

Are you certain your DOOM game is compatible with your Vista Operating System? Vista comes in 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Software compatibility depends on the game being designed for the specific OS you have. If you're running 64 bit Vista, I'm guessing your game is designed for Windows XP or 32 bit Vista.

Vista

Hi
If the soundcard you have doesn't fit the specifications required for the game then there's not much that you can do. With a bit of luck you might be able to play the game, just without sound.

The specifications required are "Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card (Note: For Creative
Sound Blaster Audigy cards running under Windows Vista you should expect
lower performance)"

You may be able to upgrade your soudcard if it is a desktop computer, otherwise you may want to try running the game on a friends computer.

Hopefully this information might help you out a bit.
