PS3, Ratchet & Clank, HDD Full, need 419 MB Free Space...

I bought Ratchet & Clank for my PS3 and it refuses to load the game. I have 57 GB of hard drive available and it says I need 419 MB free on my hard drive. I have deleted some duplicate game loads but this didn't help. I deleted 1.2 GB, updated system and still it doesn't load. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

- Just bought the PS3 for my son. Same thing...not too happy. Calling Gamestop today as I'm ATARI literate and he has Autism so...he can fix anything computer,gamesystem but not this time. I'm lucky he didn't decide to throw it out the window:)! - GuestBest Solution

For some reason this software has a glitch that won't allow it to load unless you delete one of your profiles from any game. I deleted/transfered to stick a 132 MB profile from Saints row II and it loaded. I didn't need to delete 419 MB as it stated. The game loaded and plays perfectly now. I see that even a new virgin system with zero profiles does the same thing. I guess you need to download any profile of any size and delete it before you can load this one. It should have been worked out before the game was released. I am sure that there were more than a few unhappy kids Christmas morning due to this. Thank you anyway.

Same problem for me, on a new 80gb PS3. Elsewhere I read that adding and then deleting data from the disc helps. However, I tried copying a couple cds to the hard drive (600mb each) and then deleted them both, but this has no effect. It's a real shame. Not only is the PS3 not BC but sometimes it doesn't even want to play the PS3 games!!!

same problem with brand new 80 gb ps3 - never even got the system started...first game....i get the same message... i don't get it. did you get yours to run??? thanks!!
