Internet light is flashing and wireless light not on at all

your user name and password have been entered incorrectly, they are case sensitive and must be exact. Make sure your ADSL settings are set at 0/38 (you'll see where)

Check cable connections.

Try unplugging router from power for five minutes.

If that does not work call Internet Service provider to check if there is a problem with their server.

If you want to use the wireless portion of your router, you would need a wireless adapter installed on your desktop. If you are getting internet on your desktop then this means that your wired connection is fine to the router is fine. The WMP54G adapter will work with your router, however if you are not planning on connecting to the internet wirelessly through the router then there is no need to purchase the adapter. all i can think of is reconfigure

Wireless routers can operate at the same exact frequency as cordless phones. Try switching to another frequency in the router configuration.

it just means tat the connection is secure
wat you could try would be

1) take out power for modem then dynex router

2) power the modem n then router

3) if this doesnt work you would have to redo the wireless setting on the computer

Try using the wired ethernet connection and make sure your internet connection is not failing.

1. Make sure that wireless settings are properly synchronized.

2. Check your computers wireless connection status

3. If still not working if computer is set to obtain ip automatically, try assigning static ip on wireless pc

4. Disable firewall on wireless pc.

Make sure you have the wireless icon on the taskbar lower right side. If it does not show connected, click the icon and search for wireless devices, you should see the router. connect to the router. Also make sure you have a solid DSL/CABLE status light on the service modem. BPCS
