After the laundry load finishes, the dispenser (the fabric softner and bleach parts) stay filled with water. I have to remove the entire drawer and dump the water out. I can't figure out why it's not draining properly. I've tried to clean the dispenser drawer and then also the area the drawer goes into...still the same problem remains.
I had a similar problem, but mine was with the detergent side. I removed the top of the washer and had to clean the dial that advances to let the cyle of dispensing continue. It worked, but now the machine shakes and I am told is 'unbalanced'

hopefully your using the HE type detergent an fabric softner, an not using but a teaspoon full each. the machine will detect if there is any product left in depenser. an too there will be some water left to keep lines an seals mosit. to keep from drying out so thats normal.
this is joyce
You need to call who ever you bought it from and tell them the problem that you are having, I have the same set and I am not having that problem at all. I love my set, just be sure to use the he detergent, or you will have problems that the manufactr will not help with.
Dont overload machine the clothes wont smell clean.
Purchased the duet washer and dryer sept 2004..have had the same problem with water staying in the compartments. while under warranty had to place 2 service calls..the last tech order a new bleach compartment...that helped for a few months, but back to the same problem with having to pull entire container out and empty..i do remember the tech saying that whirlpool duet was first introduced in germany...then the united states...they have had the same problem...and that whirlpool is awhere of it, but nothing can be done about...except keep emptying compartment when it fills with water...our neighbor bought a duet washer last fall...no problems like we are having..whirlpool must of solved that issue with the newer versions.... paying $1000.00 for a washer and having to empty the compartment everytime doesn't make sense to me.
