Have a misfeed error B that we cannot get to go away
We have looked everywhere we can and do not find any more pcs of paper stuck in the copier. there is also a red lightning bolt and an arrow pointing down into a box. we have also tried turning the machine off and back on but the message is still there. is there some way to reset the machine to make this message go away? do you have any suggestions on where else to look for stuck paper?

The B is saying there is a jam in the right hand side of the machine. You may have fuser stripper fingers popped out of place causing it to jam or you may have a torn off piece of paper stuck between the registration rollers. Try spinning the black and silver rollers by hand and see if any paper comes out.

this error is a transport misfeed of the paper check there is no paper stuck in the machine it could be that the paper exit sensor pc2 is fault or the registration clutch is sliping or no good you can take the clutch apart and clean it but it is best to replace it the following parts are involved with the transport misfeed
registration clutch cl1
high voltage unit hv1
master board pwba
check pc2 sensor first then work your way down the list above
When the MISFEED Indicator is blinking you should look closer at the paper feed area (see page 66 of the PDF). You may need to remove the paper tray to find any remnants of paper. If after closing the side cover the light does not stop blinking you will need to follow through as per the illustrated instructions.
Remember after removing jammed paper, you need to press the clear key to clear the MISFEED error.
If after doing all this the error signal has not cleared, power down the printer; unplug from the power supply; let rest 5 - 10 minutes; plug back i to power supply; turn printer on and see if thisresolves issue.
Your problems is the senssor actuators, change the actuator, see the first paper misfeed,if in the exit check the sensors and the actuators ,if in the vertical transport unit check the actuators, clean the rollers,if in the horizontal unit clean the trenasport roller and the syncron roller, and check aor change the transport or syncron actuator.
some machines will want all covers to be opened, then closed, for good reset. if you are having jams in the adf, then open all adf covers, and lift the adf upward, if it allows. also, try turning unit off, then back on. some jams only clear that way.
Pull out paper cassett and look for paper in the feed section. Fold a sheet of paper in half and using the blue lever inside right side door feed paper between feed rollers. Make sure you do the whole width of feed section. There might be a small piece stuck you can't see.
there is most likely a small piece of paper on a sensor/
remove paper tray and look inside, is there paper behind the tray? look at the tires are they bald and sniny? replace. Look at the tires and see if there is any scrap of paper there.
open right door and look down towards the paper tray, do you see any pieces of paper? there is a small black lever there, it's the sensor is it stuck?
look into the fuser (where it gets hot) ,you may have to remove it the paper sometimes gets crumbled like an accordion there, htere is also a small black lever there see any paper is it stuck?
Thewre could be even a small piece of paper stuck. Try looking even closer, and even open a close the access lids to reset the triggered switch. Even a minute pice of paper in the wrong location can cause a sensor to be triggered and until it is reset it will not work.
