Question about Hampton Bay 54 In. Flemish Pewter Ceiling Fan with Heater

Remote control problem

I puchased the demo model at Home Depot, of course, with no instructions. The remote control has 4 toggle switches in it which are set, but I cannot find the toggles on the fan. I'm assuming that they are set differently. I either need to know what the default setting is or where to find them on the fan itself. Any ideas?

The remote "reciever" is seperate from the fan. It is black in color with 6 wires, one being the antenna. It is wired together inside the fan canopy. If you do not have the reciever then you will have to buy a new one. You can purchase just the reciever, but you will need your remote to match it with

I have the same dryer and the same problem. The machine was bought at Home Depot as a housewarming gift by my parents. It was less than a year and half old at the time it completely shut down. I have been fighting with whirlpool over their inability to fix the problem for almost 4 months now. In my opinion this is a major defect and the machine should be replaced regardless of the warranty status.

There is no power chord in back? where can i buy one and where or who can i have it serviced if it needs it?

Electric dryers use a large, gray 220 volt power cord with oversize plug that can be purchased at any hardware or home improvement store, such as Lowe's, Menard's, Sears, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. They are easy to hook-up (they come with instructions), but many stores like Lowe's or Home Depot also have employees that can service your appliance too. I need to know what type of power cord to use with a Maytag sde2606ayw dryer. I have a dryer but no power cord. I have no idea about what to get and how to determine what to get. thanks, Patrick

Hello Patrick. dryers do not come with a cord because there are two very different and very common dryer sockets installed in homes in this country. look at your dryer socket, where you will be plugging in your new dryer. It is either a 3 hole or a 4 hole socket. IF it is a 3 hole socket then u will need a 3 hole plug. If it is a 4 hole socket you will need a 4 hole plug. The plugs are available at Sears, Home Depot, Lowes and they all come with instructions.

please rate my answer as very helpful. thanks Joe
