This could be caused by your channel receiver picking up a new channel, like a scrambled sky channel.
Do you have a standalone receiver like, MYSky or Free-view, Dish TV or similar.
These usually scan for new channels occasionally and find channels that need codes or are scrambled.
Maybe you have a content lock on the TV to prevent the viewer from accessing some channels.
That is how the channels are broadcast - reset the cable box and make sure your TV is digital ready to receive the signals. Some channels are just scrambled and you can't receive them. Go through your set up with your remote to channel search but some will still be scrambled because they are closed circuit or just for some broadcasts.
o.k. check all your connections
if you have a newer house check to see if you have a main hub in a
closet somewhere and check all connections. Check your hd receiver and
you may be able to chage the DPI the receiver receives in.
I have this problem on some of my non HD channels, also. So much for going digital. I get fuzz and pixel problems "from time to time", but, if it is really bad and consistent your should call your service provider.
Things to ask also ? are you using cable or satellite.
If satellite T.V. there are other reasons you could be experiencing problems.
You need a receiver for each TV you want to receive the reception on. Your dish receives the broadcast signal from the network and your receiver decodes and recodes the signal to view on your TV. The companies have created their own proprietary equipment to accomplish this to keep anyone and everyone from simply installing their own dish and receiving all of their broadcast channels for FREE. In the olden days when satellite and cable TV was new, that is exactly what people did. Remember those gigantic dishes some people installed in their yards? They would intercept the signals coming from the satellites and hook up directly to their TVs. The companies got smart and started to scramble the signals going up to the satellites to make these home owner dishes obsolete. Because the signals are scrambled, you now need a receiver to un-scramble the signal. I hope this helps and good luck. Please remember to vote if you found this helpful. Thanks.
I assume you have cable. The cable HD and digital channels are usually sent in Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM). The cable companies are required to send local channels in the clear but not so for any others. Regular (basic) channels may be clear or scrambled. USA many not be but HBO will be.
So you have 1 of 2 problems: (1) your TV does not do QAM or (2) they have scrambled the channels you want to see. Questions: (1) Have tried direct Over-the-Air (OTA, ATSC) reception for your locals? (2) Can you see the HD local channels on cable? (3) Are you paying for an HD box from the cable company to have the channels decoded? If in doubt contact the cable company.
Current Samsung TVs do do QAM and OTA HD. Alternatives are Dish or Direct to get satellite with an HD receiver using HDMI or 5-cable RCA. Costs are comparable but OTA wins, hands down.

Sounds like you need to input the latest key codes and / or turn on the EMU.
To keep up to date with the latest key codes I use the free toolbar from http://thechatterbox.cc download it, install it to your browser and click on the key for the latest codes.
Did you re installed the channels? If not go to antenna setup and scan and get channels back first. After this you should go to a good strong channel like 100 or 500 and let stand for a few min and it should come back if not then you are down and need reprg.
