Question about Nokia 6681 Cellular Phone
I used to have a 6630...I sold it and now I have a 6681. I'm facing two problems... 1. I made a backup of 6630 on the memory card...I know there's a way to directly transfer some data between 6630 and 6681 but that only transfers the phonebook, gallery data etc. but not the SMSs saved in the phone memory. Is there a way the 6630 backup be restored on the 6681(I mainly want my SMSs back!)?? 2. For some strange reason, my 6681(it's about 6 months old!) regularly reboots itself, sometimes in less than 20 minutes. The Nokia people asked me to format the memory card(Sandisk 512mb) and then use it...but it hasn't worked. Can anyone please inform me about the possible problem/s and the remedy?? The phone and the memory card both are virus-free. Thanks a heap!!
1. sms uusually don't get backuped, unless uploading information from your phone to a pc is supported by your phone. try to look up user's guide. 2. rebooting BB5 class phones such as 6630,6680,6681, N series usually require full reformatting. try visiting your local non-Nokia/independent service stations.
