Carburetion; running too rich at low speed

I have a 1996 polaris xcr 600 sp that I bought with a blown motor. I had trouble finding a 600 motor to put in it, but was able to find a 680 Ultra motor. The motor runs great at or above 6000 rpm, but loads up if I run very much below that. I am wondering the best way to lean it out on the low end. Thank you for any advice you can give me.

I have no personal experience but if it has been completely drained I would suggest using the most environmentally friendly type you can find, possibly the propylene glycol rather than the highly poisonous ethylene glycol.

How Many RPM,s Should It Take To Move My 96 Polaris 600 Indy XCR

Hi. I have a 97 XCR SP600. It revs up to around 5000rpms before it takes off. Some may be set lower but I've owned 3, and they all were set up that way. Should be ok as long as you don't hafta hit 7 or 8000 to get moving.

jetted too rich, cold air leans a mixture, so if you are running rich, cold temps will make it go fine, but when warm, floods out

Loosing anti-freze in my 97 polaris triple 600 xcr {indy}

it could be your base or head gasket and its leaking into the engine and burning it off. check to make sure both spark plugs are running evenly and they should be dark to light brown. if one is white you know you are burning it that cylinder
