Water inlet hose not letting water through to the machine

I have a Neff W5320X0GB/18 washer, its new but the inlet hose wont let water to the washer. The hose has some sort of module on it, think its some sort of valve? i have swapped it for a new one but i still have no water!!!!

the hose that comes with the washer has an electrical cable on it from the valve on the connector under the sink and it connects to inside the washer. But if i put a standard hose on i get a small amount of water then it is sent straight to the waste pipe and down the drain

Youre machine is probably fitted with a flood safety device as well this can be accidentally triggered whe the appliance is installed especially if moved on a sack truck the bottom of the machine is a thin metal panel and it gets bent triggering the anti flood device no water allowed in,if you look in the bottom with a torch you should be able to see this and can probably push it back down with youre hand also check for water in here too as a leak will generate the same result

That's probably a flood-safe type hose ... most of them reset after you remove it and re-install where it connects to the faucet, but you have already swapped it . try removing it and reinstalling it , then turn water supply on slowly

Neff washing machine stops half way through the cycle and the high water level light comes on

possible hose blockage or filter blockage. when half way through the cycle the machine evacuates the water to replace for rince cycle or to start spin cycle if the way is blocked the water cant go out so the machine can not finish the cycle, and usually the door will stay locked so not to flood, when the water is still in the machine. remove and check the drainage hose for kinks and blockage. also remove and check the filter under the machine. (be careful as this will let out all the water so have some towels or bucket ready to catch the water. once the filter is clean replace and restart your machine.
I hope this was useful.

2 problems 1st is the washer continues to fill with water when i put in a new load second is it wont spin

If the water keeps filling without cutting off, you either have a faulty inlet solenoide or your pressure hose and or pressure switch needs checking.

To isolate the acutal problem, start the machine on a new cycle. Change the water level to minimum or low before you start. Let the machine fill up. Keep checking the water intake as it fill up. Once the water level goes over the half way mark in your tank, if the machine starts its wash action then your pressure hose and switch are o.k. as they have signalled to the timer that the water level selected, has been reached.

However if the machine keeps filling up even though the wash action has started, then you have a faulty inlet solenoide/valve. Turn off water at the tap and get the valve replaced.

Washing machine won't stop filling

Hello Marty, there are only two possible reasons for your trouble.

If your washer is overfilling, check these:

Water-inlet valve
Water-level switch
Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve.

Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level switch.

Washer is leaving grease all over my clothes

I have this problem on my front loading washer too, but only when washing white clothes. I have just read that perhaps the inlet hose is disintegrating from the hot water being too hot. The hose disintergration can cause black greasy stains on the clothes. I am going to check out the inlet hose when I get home. Hopefully this is the problem... I am sure a new inlet hose is a lot cheaper than a new transmission or new bearings. BTW, my washer in only 18 months old.

Error code e 10 means no cold fill.

Ensure that the water getting to the machine from the water supplies at the back. Check that the hoses are not bent or kinked and that the water tap is opened.
Try cutting power to the machine for ten minutes to reset the code.
If that does not work, then it is usually a faulty inlet valve stuck on closed on cold water.

Washer doesnt take hot water

All the symptoms described are typical of a water inlet valve that has either become clogged with sediment or has a solenoid failure. You can elect to replace the water inlet valve, or attempt to clean. Cleaning requires shutting off the water source and disconnecting the inlet hoses. Check the sediment screens in the water inlet valve and clean with cotton swabs and distilled vinger. Place the hoses in the wash tub and turn on the water supply to make sure the hoses are clog free. Sometimes a good cleaning can help. However, the majority of the cases involve replacing the valve. The following link explains how:

I hope this information is helpful. Anyone with questions are encouraged to post back and let me know.

Washing machine wont fill

hmmm...wool requires cold water...I'm guessing that first the hot water and now the cold water solenoid valves have become clogged with sediment. test by turning off water. then loosen the hose connection to each inlet in back of washer. then slowly open water valves and let water pour into wash tub if hose will reach, otherwise pour into a bucket. if water comes out of hose, then look for metal screens at hose connections to washer and clean those. if still no water through solenoids (after re-connecting water hoses) then may need to disassemble solenoids and clean those too.

Neff Dishwasher

Hallo Champer, 1)Be sure water supply is arriving with enough pressure. 2)If the hose between the crane and dishwasher has an aqua-stop ( or water-stop) which you recognize at the hose being enlarged twice the size close to the crane, possibly water supply can be blocked there. You can change it temporarily with a regular hose ( for garden or car-wash ...). If dishwasher is doing the job buy a new hose with Aqua-stop in a regular electro- household appliances shop. 3) If this solution is not the good one, you might check in fact to the inlet valve, which you find at the other side of the metal plate where the watersupply is flooding inside the diswasher. Generally a white coloured threaded plastic pipe. Unplug your dishwasher, close water supply (!) and disconnect the water hose. Open the dishwasher ( either top-plate and/or back-panel). Now you see the inlet-valve ; unscrew this one and mark the position of the 2 electrical wires, which you also unplug then. Also unplug the internal water drain, and ask again a regular shop (see 2) if they can check this valve and if necessary get a spare part. Oeffti, hopefully this helps else let know.
