Warranty I am having trouble submitting my warranty information although I still have a little over 2 months left on the warranty. Maybe I am submitting it to the wrong place. Could anyone help me with this issue?

Re: Warranty

Hello MykeIB, First try to locate the service telephone number for your fan (model type). If that does not work try locating a appliance service center in your area, and request a direct telephone number to assist you. This should help you out. Okay Spurs21

My bladeless dyson fan frequently does not work. When you turn the power button on the light blinks blue. I've only had it a month

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

A blinking on/off switch LED light can indicate an interruption to the power supply. However we'd appreciate the chance to check your machine is working correctly - it sounds as if it should be well within our 2-year warranty period.

Please get in touch directly so our experts can help. You can reach us on 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

Fan stopped working all of a sudden

Normally these type of things have a year guarantee or warranty on them so take it back and get another one. If the company is good they will change it for you or honor the warranty and if you bought it from someone who never gave you a guarantee well it will be safer to cut your loses and throw it away and buy a brand name fan that has a guarantee or warranty.

the warranty should be in the box it came in, you would also need the reciept to prove time of purchase. if there was no warrenty in the box you can check online to see if there are any other options.

Check with HD on the warranty. If not warranty, seems like the manifold/flywheel might have come loose or broken. This is a large circular rubber device that holds the blades to the motor shaft.

mcdevito75 here, On the fan you hear, carefully turn the blades by hand just a little and see if they start up on there own. These motors are sealed units and maybe the oil is a little thick from non-use. If the baldes don:t start up, Then I would replace the fans.

Where do i find a replacement motor for my patton model u-2-1887 fan? 120v/60hz/270w/2.6 amps. or where would i get the motor rebuilt?

Before you replace it, try oiling it -- look at the little oil hole on the back of the motor housing. Or try taking it apart and cleaning it, then oiling.

Did it work before, but gradually slowed down and then refused to start? See other threads on this topic for that fan model.

I bought and had installed a Minka Aire Ultra Max ceiling fan about 4 months ago. It works great with the remote and until about a month ago I had no problems with it. Now, it has developed a clicking...

A lot of fans have a clicking noise if they have a chain hanging down and the balance is not perfect and the fan wiggles a little. It will only happen at certain speeds that are "resonant" where the swinging can build up. The pull chain then makes the noise as it hit the case.

Ceiling fan pull chain connected but does not click on

There is a pull chain switch inside the fan termination housing. you will have to take the little cover off and remove the switch. it has 2 small screws with wire landed under them. Turn off the power at the breaker before working on the switch. take this little ****** out and put in a new one. you can get them at the Home Depot or equivelant. it don't matter if the new switch is a little bigger but it still has to fit. use some judgement here. wire it in the place of the old one, turn the power back on at the breaker and it should be ready to go. Presto.
