Flatron W1943 sb monitor goes into power-saving mode. Does not display data.

If the monitor is displaying the "Power Saving Mode" signal to the monitor, then the monitors internal VGA board is functioning, so you can rule out a broken monitor. However I have seen monitors blow the internal fuse to the VGA board which causes a false "SLEEP" signal. If this be the case then it will require replacement of the fuse (usually a microfuse soldered onto monitor internal board) or most likely a monitor replacement.

To test:

Option A: you can connect another monitor to the monitor output on the back of the computer and see if you get a display. If this monitor goes to sleep, then it is likely that your Video card is malfunctioning. If you get a display, then it is definately the monitor.

Option B: If you have another computer, you can attempt to connect the monitor to another computer. Also most modern laptops will be equipped with monitor output, so if you have one you can check it. If the monitor sleeps, then it is definately the monitor. If you get a display, then it is definately the computer video card.

Hope that helps,

G

No display

Hello,

The Viewsonic VG1921wm monitor uses the same power supply board that the Optiquest Q19w uses. When that monitor has display problems like you are having the most common cause is bad capacitors on the power supply board. When the capacitors go out the power board does not put out the correct voltages to drive the back light circuits and the driver circuits so you get no display. There is a very good chance that this is the problem with your unit and it would be worth having a look at the power supply board. Here is a link to a repair guide for the Optiquest monitor and since they use the same power supply board it should help you check you board and show what needs to be replaced to repair it.

I hope this helps.

My samsung LCD monitor display blank but blue light is blink.

Hi,

Check to ensure all connections are in good place and are properly connected, if they are and yet no display, the picture board on your monitor is faulty, since the power light is on, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.
take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity to help with the replacement of the picture board.

Hello,

It is the picture picture board on your monitor that is malfunctioning, since the power led or button is on, but the display screen goes blank, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity or any service center to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself, in order not to complicate issues.

Take care.

I have no display o9n screen or monitor

It could be one of two things. First thing your display is faulty and will ahve to be replaced or the second thing is your system board is faulty. To know if its your system board use an external monitor via the vga port on your laptop if you can see and use your computer using the external monitor then just your screen is faulty if not then its your system board

I have asus p5p800-mx mother board morboard working fine and also start but on monitor no display and i also try to install additional graphics card then also no display

Have you tested the monitor to see if it is working? Is the vga cable good? Are you getting the BIOS start-up display screens when computer is booting up or no display at all? It is odd that both the on board video and video card would be bad I would double check the cable connection and the monitor. If the cable is good and the monitor is working properly than the board might be bad. You should at least get the BIOS start-up screen display.

Power board or inverter board are shot. contact manufacturer if in warranty for replacement, or get a new monitor. If you are so inclined, you can probably get these boards cheap on ebay.
