Janome 10000 sending completed design from digitizer to my machin

I have Janome 10000 mc and I no longer can send completed designs to my sewing machine. I clicked on the machine to send on the tool bar. I get a sign that USB CORD DISCONNECTED AND IT IS NOT! I clicked on to start ands it timed out. It will not send at all?!

I took the machine back to the store where I purchased it and they thought I was stupid and brushed me off. and I left defeated so I wrote to the Digitizer Technical support and they said the trouble is in the machine and the "store" refused to look at it and said the trouble is ME.

I am a 75 year old woman and I have no savy of computer stuff at all. I just enjoy it and feel challanged by it.

I love to draw and I have about 100 or more designs I have completed and wish to sew them , I do appreciate your help . I need step by sep instructions as what to do. My Digitizer program is DIGITIZER 10000 1.1 Is it out dated? At the store they had a different tool bar than I have. Many thanks for your kind attention, Betty

I sent a messaqge for help and I don't seem to get any from the store where I purchased the machine or the Digitizer soft ware co. or Janome trouble shooting tech. I am having trouble with sending a design to the MC 10000 I get a report that the USB cord is disconnected but it is NOT DISCONNECTECD I use the exact same cord and I tried it with my scanner and my also on my printer and both of those work just fine. So the report you sent back to me is of no help. Please help me. This $5.000.00 machine is useless to me and I'd like to be referred to someone that can help me please Than you for your kind attention for this matter Betty

Hi, if you have not fixed the problem yet, try installing again the machine software.

This often can solve the problem.

As you stated that the wire works properly with other devbice you connect .so it clearly indicates the problem of the socket where you insert the wire in the machine.just unplug the machine totally from the main power outlet and also remove the usb power cord from the machine.then blow the air in the socket and also clean the socket with a dy tissue then reconnect all the wires properly then check out it should recognize and work properly.but if not then its quite possible that the usb socket where you insert the wire is the machine is got loose and needs to be readjusted from inside.but as you saiod its new you should go for warrant issues.and if not receiving any help from the company source then you can just call a local techinician who has koowledge of this units.it will not cost you much for this socket fitting internally/

Replace the usb wire its defective and not getting detected by the device.its very negligible to replace the cord not more then $2 will cost you for this.

Hi Betty
Check the USB cable, it could be faulty! They do sometimes go like that.
Good luck

Can not send designs from pc to mc 10000 .

Hi all have just solved the problem with a kind lady from Janome, the problem was my internal memory was all used up on my mc10001 - answer is delete some of your designs that you have put on your machine and gauranteed the next design you send via USB will be fine - no messages - woohoo im not going insane - sigh of relief. Anyway that is the solution - just delete a couple of designs and free up the space.
Cheers Jgurl

Cannot get Janome 10001 to read via USB direct link from computer

You need to have Customizer og Digitizer pro to send design by cable to you MC10001.

You can also use a PCMCIA adapter in your MC10001 and a CF memorycard..you also need a memorycard reader to write to your CF card from your computer

Janome MC 10000 with Easy Transfer using jef files

Your internal memory files could be full and need some designs deleted, the monogram design might not be centred in the hoop so it registers outside the sewing field, The hoop selected might be too small for the design.
