No ink on print out from canon mg6150, please help

how much ink is in the ink Cartridges?
have you changed the ink cartridge recently ?
You may need to clean the print head.
see http://www.cityinkexpress.co.uk/cheap-printer-cartridges/canon/pixma-mg6150/mg-series/cleaner/printhead-cleaning-cartridge/yellow

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Printhead-Ink-CLEANING-KIT-Fix-Canon-PIXMA-MP990-MG6150-MG6250-QY6-0078-000-New-/250992770857

seems to look like it may be a manual procedure with the mg6150 rather than a computer setting in the printer properties. Look under properties to see if there is a computer generated head clean .

Epson wont recognize black refill cartridge.

I'm assuming that you are probably using Non-Epson Ink Cartridges, because those are what normally cause that problem, with a printer not recognizing an installed ink cartridge. Unfortunately, there is no way to make your Epson Printer use or accept that Non-Epson Ink Cartridge, if it cannot actually recognize it. Its even possible that some Generic or Third-Party brands, may not always be recognized by the newer models of Epson Printers, because of the inexpensive [cheap] and or incompatable Electrical Chips that are mounted on the actual ink cartridge. Sometimes you will even get Error Messages up on your Monitors screen, telling you that you are actually using a Non-Epson Ink Cartridge, or that your printer cannot recognize the cartridge that you installed. Sometimes the Ink Level Indicator, on your Status Monitor, will not show an actual ink level, but may indicate a cartridge error or problem instead. Not all Generic or Third-Party ink & ink cartridges are made the same and none of them actually contain the right formulation of ink, for the Epson Printers [formula is patented by Epson Company]. Some are probably close and seem to be better than others, but some simply can clog-up or even damage the Printhead Assemblies on Epson Printers, or simply won't be accepted at all. Epson Ink Jet Printers are one of the few printers on the market that seem to have so many problems with non-manufactors inks, especially the newer models made in the last couple of years. Its because the Epson Printers use a completely different printhead inking system than most other brands of printers. Most, if not all of the other manufactors, use thermal or bubble jetprint heads and because the other brands use a totally different system, they don't seem to have as many problems using refilled inks or non-manufactor's ink cartridges. Printer manufacters do not make available their ink formulation and in most cases, the formulation is patented. Any difference in the ink formulation can actually cause clogging in the small printhead nozzles or damage other critical components. One individual printhead nozzle is so tiny, that it will not accept a human hair, so you can see why they can get clogged so easily, or even why the nozzles can be so easily damaged...Even if you were actually using a New-Epson Ink Cartridge, its always possible that you got a bad cartridge. At this point, the only thing I can suggest is that you try a different New-Epson Ink Cartridge, or at the very least, a different brand of Non-Epson Ink Cartridges and see if that helps.

Black Ink Only Driver Download for Epson Stylus C63?

You can't because NO-ONE has ever, nor will ever write one, the printer companies would probably literally kill anyone that did it, printer ink is more valuable than uranium, that's how they make their money... they want you to have to buy color tanks to print even when you only want need black, it is all a conspiracy..lol. Seriously if you only want black you have to get a single tank black only printer..

How do i replace the printhead

The Print head is sitting in a cradle. So do not confuse the cradle with actual print head. The cradle is the one that slides left and right on the metallic rod. Do NOT try to remove the cradle.

Make sure to use genuine Canon ink cartidges.

1) Unplug the power to the printer. Remove the USB printer cable.
2) Lift open the top cover by depressing the round button on the right side of the printer; exposing the printer ink cartridges.
3)Lift the grey lever on top of the cartridges. This dis-engages the printhead electrical connections. Remove all the 4 ink cartridges from the printhead. From the cradle hold the printhead from the top and lift the printhead by tilting it toward you. Make sure not to touch the electrical contacts in the back printhead.
4) Take a small plastic bowl and fill it with 1/4 inch or less with Rubbing Alcohol(70% Isopropyl Alcohol). Dip the bottom of the printhead in the alcohol. Soak printhead in the alcohol and shake it lightly so the dried ink clogging the printhead can come loose. Us paper towels to soak excess alcohol from the bottom of the printhead. Make sure not to damage the printheads.
5) Pour some alcohol from the top of the each inlet of the ink cartridge seat and again soak up any excess alcohol with paper towel. Let the print head dry up little.
6) Put the printhead back in the cradle and insert back the ink cartridges in their right seat. Lower the grey lever back into its position so the electrical contacts are made on the printhead.
7) Plug the power and USB port.
8) Print a picture or diagram with color in draft mode. You might have to do this couple of times, so that the inks starts flowing from the ink cartridge through the print head. Then print the same in high quality. If the heads are unclogged your printer should work as new.

Just one bit of advice: you may wonder if you've got the position right because the grey lever may not seem to be able to engage - it will, but needs a fairly strong push to click into position again.

Ink too light

hi
If this is when the printer prints from the document feeder infront it uses a ink ribbon to do so.All you have to do is open the front cover and clip it off. Then remove the housing that covers the printhead. There are two screws one on the right and one on the left side.Once the cover is off you will see a plate that the printhead prints against with two screws holding it, adjust them slowlyanti-clockwise one or two revolutions and then test. if this plate is too far from the printhead it prints light
The other way to do it is to open the the slip printer at the back and flip it up ,then you will see a black frame with two blue arms on the left and right clip it loose and fold it black. Now you will see the plate on it and adjust it accordingly
i love these printers as hey are easy to fix and i became a guru on them
Glad to be of help if you have any questions mail me

Printer jam...i took the back off i see no paper jamed anywhere. I removed the paper and reinstalled it still the light come on saying there is a printer jam

To resolve this issue please do the following:
1. Open the printer access door(the gray part)
2. remove the cartridges
3. remove the printhead, to remove it press the release latch located on the upper left edge of the printhead where you put the black ink
ff17ccd.jpg
4. Then close the printer access door WITHOUT the printhead and the cartridges.
5. unplug the printer and wait for 30 seconds and plug it back
6. it will give you a missing printhead error
7. install the printhead first, close it and then it should give an error missing cartridges. install the cartridges and if you no longer have the error upgrade the firmware by going to www.kodak.com/go/downloads
I hope that helps. If not contact kodak technical support for further troubleshooting.

Printer doesn´t print using the mangenta ink cartridge

try this :

1. Make sure the printer is turned on but not printing.

NOTE: You cannot clean the print head if the any of the cartridges are expended. Replace the appropriate ink cartridge before proceeding.

2. Load letter size paper.

3. Click on START.

For Windows 95/98/ME: Click SETTINGS, PRINTERS, then RIGHT-CLICK on the EPSON STYLUS PRINTER ICON. Select PROPERTIES from the drop-down menu. Proceed to Step 4.

For Windows 2000: Click SETTINGS, PRINTERS, then RIGHT-CLICK on the EPSON STYLUS PRINTER ICON. Select PRINTING PREFERENCES from the drop-down menu. Proceed to Step 4.

For Windows XP: Click CONTROL PANEL, PRINTERS AND FAXES. RIGHT-CLICK your EPSON STYLUS PRINTER ICON. Select PRINTING PREFERENCES from the drop-down menu. If this icon is not showing, select VIEW INSTALLED PRINTERS. Then RIGHT-CLICK the EPSON STYLUS PRINTER ICON. Select PRINTING PREFERENCES from the drop-down menu. Proceed to Step 4.

For Windows Vista: Click CONTROL PANEL,HARDWARE AND SOUND then PRINTERS. Note: these steps may vary depending on how Vista is setup. RIGHT-CLICK on the EPSON STYLUS PRINTER ICON. Select PRINTING PREFERENCES from the drop-down menu. Proceed to Step 4.

4. Click on the UTILITY or MAINTENANCE tab, then click on HEAD CLEANING.

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to clean the printhead. Cleaning takes about 30 seconds, during which time the printer makes some noise and the power light flashes. Never turn off the printer while the power light is flashing, unless the printer has not moved or made noise for more than 5 minutes.

6. When the power light stops flashing click PRINT NOZZLE CHECK PATTERN and then click NEXT.

7. If the nozzle check pattern has no gaps in its lines, click FINISH. If the pattern has any gaps, click CLEAN to clean the printhead again.

8. If the situation continues after three cleaning cycles and nozzle checks, replace one of the affected ink cartridge(s).

9. Once the cartridge(s) has been replaced, please follow steps one through seven up to three times.
