Ok open the front door look around the top sile their should be 2 screws. Remove them .That will let the top come off.slide off to the front.on the front door housing you will see 2 wires going to the button that stops the dryer when you open door.mark and unplug. How there is 2 bolts one on both sides remove them. Lift up and out with the door housing.pull the drum out the front. pushing the belt back a little as go .When you get the drum out .You will see the heating coils. Its not that bad but it fun getting the belt back on with one person.Good luck. coils $15

Neptune glass front takes 4 hours to dry clothes.

make sure the vent system is clean. any restrictions can cause the safety switches to activate and turn off heaters. When it cools, the switch resets and starts heating. Unit will continue to cycle the heat off and on. Make sure all elements are working.
Start there.

Front load MDE2400AZW takes forever to dry stuff. A regular load takes 1 1/2 hrs to dry,but the heat is on, and it seems to work.

Make sure the lint trap in the door is clean. It has a plastic cover that opens. Disconnect the venting at the rear and run a load, if it works you have a restriction in the hose after the dryer or in the wall past the hose.

Dryer gets hot but wont dry clothes

Do you know if the dryer vent is free of obstructions?Check outside where the dryer vents outside ,and see if the air is weak or flowing freely. If it is not clogged the air should be pretty strong from the vent outside. If it has blockage it will definitly take longer to dry your clothes.

Dryer LG 6DTD3120

You should change it back to regular gas the problem is in pressure reg gas come to your home at much greater pressure then propane that's why it takes longer to dry the other thing is to keep your lint trap clean because it can affect drying once in while blow out lint hose as well
