How to Prevent System Breakdown or Service Interruption of the MA5600 Caused by Network Attacks Through the Proper Configuration

The common improper configurations that affect the system security are as follows:
The ring network detection function and the anti-MAC address-spoofing function or anti-IP address-spoofing function are disabled. When the anti-MAC address-spoofing function or the anti-IP address-spoofing function is disabled, the ******* user sends the PPPoE and DHCP control packets by forging the MAC address or IP address of a legal user. In this case, the security of the system is affected.
Huawei MA5600
Run the ring check command to enable the ring network detection function on the user side
Run the security anti-macspoofing enable command to enable the anti-MAC address-spoofing function.
Run the security anti-ipspoofing enable command to enable the anti-IP address-spoofing function
The devices are managed by IP addresses of the public network and the access rights are not limited strictly when the ACL rule is configured. In this case, the network is attacked.
To ensure the security of devices, manage the devices by using the IP addresses of the private network. When configuring the ACL rule, you must comply with the principle of the minimum authorization to configure the accessible address segment. The accessible address segment can contain only the mandatory IP addresses of the management network segment. Other IP addresses cannot access the device management interface.
Run the acl command to create a basic ACL and enter the ACL mode. The number of a basic ACL can only be in the range of 2000-2999.
In the basic ACL mode, run the rule command to create a basic ACL rule. The parameters are as follows:
rule-id: Indicates the ACL rule ID. To create an ACL rule with a specified ID, use this parameter.
permit: Indicates the keyword for allowing the data packets that meet the related conditions to pass.
deny: Indicates the keyword for discarding the data packets that meet the related conditions.
time-range: Indicates the keyword of the time range during which the ACL rule is effective.
The packets that access the device management interface are not controlled so that the device is attacked by the packets. In this case, the system is caused to be busy and the services are affected.
Run the firewall packet-filter command to apply the packet filtering rules of the firewall to the interface to filter the packets that access the interface. In this case, the packet attack is prevented.

I have a alpine mrp-m500 for about two years no problems at all. but one day it stops producing sound. i check all fuse on the whole system. is the a protect mode? and how do get it out of it?

If you have checked all the fuses.
Trace your ground wire that goes to the frame. It may be possible your ground is no longer grounded properly. You may just need to unhook the fuse from the battery, Unhook the ground wire from the chassis and restrip, put on a new connector, chisel off the paint around where the amp was grounded to and tighten it back down. Hook back up your fuse to the battery and check and see if it removes the protect light.
Also check to make sure your RCA cables aren't bad. If the RCA cables ground it'll put the amp into protect mode too. Basically just switch out the RCA cables for a good pair.
If the remote wire on the amp is touching the ground, it'll throw the protect light too. That's pretty much the extent, unless the amp has a short inside it.

Hope this helps!

Keeps logging off

If you cannot log into windows in either the normal or safe mode, your repair options are limited.
You can try the following:
  1. Run diagnostics on the hard drive, see if it fails, if the drive fails diags, replace it.
  2. If the drive passes diags, then try booting to recovery console (Boot to XP CD, R at first prompt. Try running the chkdsk /r command.
  3. If no change, try a repair reinstall of windows.

Section 15-00: Audio Systems—Service 1999 Taurus, Sable Workshop Manual DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING Inspection and Verification NOTE: Many customers do not understand the limitations of FM reception. Refer the customer to the Owner Guide for information about the limitations of FM radio performance.

Internal diagnostic examination of the integrated control panel, rear chassis unit and audio compact disc player should be left to the authorized radio service center. However, the automotive technician should be able to analyze and isolate radio reception conditions to the proper area or component causing the condition. All radio conditions can be isolated to one of six general areas:
  • antenna system
  • integrated control unit
  • radio speaker system
  • radio noise suppression equipment
  • rear chassis unit
  • audio communications protocol network
Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
Using Audio System On-Board Diagnostics
The audio system has on-board diagnostic capabilities and is equipped to check for every component available in the system even if this specific vehicle is not equipped with all components. A Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set for the missing components. These DTCs can be ignored if the vehicle is not equipped with these components. The battery must be fully charged for proper audio system operation. The ignition switch must be in the RUN or ACC position. Turn the system on, tune in a strong AM station and verify good reception. After an AM station is checked, tune in a strong FM station. The system is now ready to enter the diagnostic mode. Diagnostic Mode:
NOTE: Battery must be fully charged for proper audio system operation and self-test.

Enter Diagnostics mode by pressing SEEK DOWN button first and then pre-set button 3. Hold both buttons for five seconds. This will suspend all normal radio functions, retain the previously selected frequency and display DIAG.
  1. NOTE: To perform diagnostics, press the appropriate buttons as instructed.

    SYSTEM CONFIGURATION SELF-TEST:
Press pre-set button 1. This will check for connection of all possible devices and log the diagnostic trouble codes for any device that does not respond. The display will flash SELF while gathering the diagnostic trouble codes, then stop flashing when complete. To exit System Configuration Self-test, press pre-set button 1 again. To retrieve diagnostic trouble codes, press the TUNE UP button. This will display the diagnostic trouble codes if any exist. Continued pressing of the TUNE UP button will display the next diagnostic trouble code. Record codes and refer to the following table. To exit the Retrieval Mode, press pre-set button 1.

CONFIGURATION SELF-TEST CODES Code Description 0 No diagnostic trouble codes logged 1 No response from rear chassis unit 2 No response from tape deck 3 No response from bezel microprocessor 4 No response from compact disc player 5 No response from steering wheel controls 6 No response from rear seat control 7 No response from remote climate control 8 No response from navigation module 9 Read Only Memory verification failed
Remember, system configuration will test for all possible equipment connections. Inspect the vehicle to determine actual equipment installed.
  1. Integrated control panel display test:
To enter the integrated control panel display test, press pre-set button 5. This check will light all segments in the integrated control panel. The system will automatically exit this test after five seconds.
  1. Integrated control panel and rear chassis unit identification:
To enter this test, press pre-set button 3. This test identifies the software level of the integrated control panel and rear chassis unit. The integrated control panel is tested first, followed by the rear chassis unit. The completed test will exit automatically. For code identification, refer to the following table. The display will have two sequences of five codes each. The first sequence is for the integrated control panel, the second sequence is for the rear chassis unit.

Will not boot to Safe Mode

Try to boot from the Resource CD by selecting the <F12> key and select boot from CD/DVD drive. If you tried to run the "Diagnostics" option from the <F12> boot menu and it went to command prompt, there might be an issue with your hard drive or the "Diagnostics" partition is corrupted or missing. If all tests pass using the Resource CD, then your OS is probably hosed. As for the 9 LED light, that just indicates that your numeric keypad is enabled.
