Okay, the first thing is , there is no code on the radio. the numbers on the radio if you pull it out are the model # and the serial #. most of the time the dealer needs the serial # to get you the code. know if you enter the wrong code three times it will lock you out and instead of it displaying CODE It will display LOC.

is your radio displaying CODE or is it displaying LOC.

let me know and i will help you. good day

SOURCE: cant get the radio to

hi.
the dealers usually trace these codes through the registration number of the car. they also assume that the radio is the original and has not been changed in the last 11 years. you may have to take the radio itself to the dealer so they can check the serial numbers and make sure they have given you the correct code.

they should not charge you for this, if they did not give you the correct code in the first place.

How do I reset the radio in 1996 Honda Accord?

Hi; You must have put in the wrong code.It will only give you 2 or3 shots at it.You will have to wait 24 to 36 hours before it will let you try again. when you do it watch what you are pushing, It should go back on. If it doesnt you will have to get the radio's seriel # and bring it to the honda dealer and he should be able to get the code for it, but there is a fee.

Radio code

The easiest way to do this is to phone your local KIA dealer and have them walk you thru the process of resetting the security code for you.
Talk to someone in the service department.

You may have to remove the unit from the dash to get the ID numbers from the sticker on the radio case , but call first and find out , as you may not need to do that.

Locked radio on a 1996 Mitsubishi montero need help replaced batt. and radio locked

You just need to call the Mitsubishi dealer. He will give you the code. If the radio has been removed before, someone may have written the code on the radio housing. You'll have to remove the radio, and the information the dealer needs in on the radio housing. Ir if you purchased used, someone may already have written the code in the owners' manual.

No problem, the dealer's used to helping out with these codes, no fee involved.

I need a radio code for 1996 benz

Radio code is found with the owners manual. If you are without that go to an MB dealer so they can verify ownership and look up the code.

Don't know the radio reset code. Is there a factory reset?

You need to call an Audi/VW dealership and have the auz code off the back or side of the stereo, which means you have to pull out the stereo. Also you have to give the dealer your VIN # and then they can look it up for you. They may try to tell you they have to hook it up to a computer, thats BS! They will try to get you to bring it in. You have to know what you are talking about when you call, or they will give you some lame excuse to get you to bring it in. They are required to give it to you for free if you tell them the radio code isn't in the owners' manual given to you with the car.

Good luck.

And search through the audizine.com forums or any other audi forum, it will tell you what you need. You may even be able to get someone who posts on the forum and works at a dealership to look it up for you, if you ask nice.

1997 bmw 328i conv.

If you're talking about the Anti-Theft Security code for your radio, I'm fairly sure that only a BMW Dealership would be able to retrieve and reset the radio.

You could also try disconnecting the battery terminals for 10-20 minutes, and see if it resets.
