Question about Hoover F7425-900 SteamVac V2 Widepath Upright Vacuum
From your description, you problem sounds like it could be an electrial one, not very hard to diagnose, but some dis-assembly is required. you would have to remove the hood, motor cover, turbine just to get to the motor. I would check the carbon brushes for contact on the armature first. the other things to check would be the cord but the back lower half of the handle would need to be taken apart. I would highly recommend to bring it in for an estimate only, most should do one for a minimal fee or deposit.
