normally they dont cycle that often, sounds like a weak cycling or high limit thermostat thats heat sensitive from age,its on the burner housing the cycling switch is on the blower housing
most likely its gonna be your coil kit, but it could also be ur gas valve, but the gas valve is not common. I would go with the silinoid coil kit first, its much cheaper too

Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating
the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows
sometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different
things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
first make sure the vent is clean to the outside from the dryer, then it could be packed with lint inside the unit, after this is complete, then the hi-limit/cycling switch on the element case can cause early cycling and low heat output if the unit heats by electricity,ig gas it can be a cycling switch on the burner tube, radiant sensor on the burner tube, gas valve coils are weak on the gas valve
first check the thermal fuse for continuity in the dryer blower housing/vent,then check the high-limit and/or cycling thermostats and the radiant sensor(flame eye) on the burner tube of the unit, then check the ignitor in the burner tube housing and finally the boost and secondary gas valve solenoid coils on the gas valve body inside the unit near the front entry of burner tube
ckd coils on burner /valve they are probably breaking down..be sure you have good gas supply sounds almost like low or no gas pressure but believe you'll find coils bad
