Question about Konica Minolta DiALTA Di200 Copier

The C0070 error message again

I have tried to solution of taking out the new toner and closing the door then turning the machine off and on, etc., but it's not working. I get the message if the toner is in there. I get the message if the toner is not in there. The toner will not go in right side up (I've been using the empty bottle to try to get it to turn back over). It's not resetting itself so that I can put the new bottle in right side up. I just keep getting this message over and over again. Now we left this copier without toner and turned off for about three months. So it may be hopeless now to try to fix it. Please help.

My photocopy machine shows code C0070

Power off the machine. Then remove the toner bottle be careful the hole might be on the bottom toner is going to everywhere. Then close the toner cover and turn on the machine. Let the machine go through it normal routine. When it asks for toner install the toner correctly. If THE KUNB on the side of the bottle is damage put a new one in that KUNB is what the toner motor uses to turn the bottle if it damage you get a code. If that does not work you might have a bad motor or the home sensor or actuator for the toner bottle is bad worse case the control board is bad. Reset open close front door WHAT MODEL IS THIS MACHINE?

It doesnt print the first page and its a minolta cspro 3000 and the error code is c0070

This service code C0070 is a universal code used by Konica Minolta to indicate a toner bottle rotation failure. These machines add toner by rotating the toner bottle that you install in the machine. Most of the time this code is caused by a toner cartridge that has been installed incorrectly or has become dislodged from it's holder. To clear the code open the front door or toner door and remove the toner cartridge/bottle from the machine. Close the toner door and turn the machine off then on to reset the code. Let the machine run. This may take several minutes and will allow the machine to bring the toner bottle receptacle into it's home position. Once the machine stops running completely, then you can re-install the toner cartridge. If the code does not come back you are ready to go. If the code came back after removing the toner but before you re-installed it then you have either a dirty rotation sensor or a bad toner drive motor and will need service.
If the code comes back after the cartridge is re-installed then there is either a priblem with the cartridge or with the toner bottle drive.
Most of the time though the problem will be resolved by the outlined procedure.

How to fix problem code 0070

C0070 indicates that the toner bottle is not rotating as it should.

Open the toner door and see if the "UP" label on the toner bottle is on top of the bottle. You should be able to see it as soon as you open the door. If it is not then turn the machine off then on again to reset the C0070 and try and get the bottle to it's home position.

If it is visable, remove the bottle carefully so as not to spill the toner. Set the bottle aside and close the toner door, turn off the machine for 10 seconds then turn it back on. Allow the machine to run for as long as it needs to and see if the code comes back. 1 of 3 things should happen. 1) The machine will warm up as normal and come to the "ready to copy" state and you can make a copy. 2) The machine will run for quite some time, then shut down and say replenish toner.
3) The C0070 comes back even with the bottle removed. In this instance you may need a service technician as there is a drive problem with the bottle rotation system.

If 1 or 2 are true then try re-installing the toner cartridge if and only if all machine noise/running has stopped. Then run copies and see if the code comes back. If it does then you most likely have stripped the toner bottle drive gear and it will have to be replaced.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Code error c0070, Minolta EP2050 Copier

C0070 means that your toner bottle is not rotating properly. First thing is to remove the toner bottle from the machine. Close the front door and let the machine run. This may take several minutes maybe even 10. If the code does not come back and once the machine has stopped then re-install the cartridge and let the machine add toner. If no code comes back you are fine. If it comes back after re-installing the cartridge you have a small plastic drive coupler in the hopper that has cracked or there is toner on the rotation sensor. Kind of a common problem on these models. If this happens just reply with a comment and I will point you to the parts you might need.
Most of the time tho this code is a result of an improperly installed cartridge or a cartridge from the wrong model. Should be 201A toner.
Good Luck

Error code c0070

A error code C070 has to do with the toner hopper motor. Did you just put a new toner in. If so, carefully remove it and turn the copier off & close the front door & turn it back "ON" and let the copier come to "Ready". Once it is ready, reistall the toner bottle and close the door and see what happens. If it is not cleared you most likely have a problem with the "HP" flag for the toner bottle. Good Luck..

Copier malfunction

Have you just added a new toner? If so try this first.... Turn the power off and carefully remove the toner bottle you just put in.. Close the front door and turn the power back on and let the copier warm up to ready. Make one or two copies and open the front door and reinstall the toner bottle again... That should take care of the problem.... If it dose not work you probly have more of a major problem with the hopper unit..

Error code C0070

This could be a easy fix for you. Did you just add a new toner? If so, try this..... Remove the new toner bottle CAREFULLY, mahe sure the hole in the bottle is in the upward position. Once you have removed the bottle, Close the front door and turn the copier OFF then back On. Let the copier come to ready and reinstall the toner agian as it is displayed on the front cover or box. Then close the front door and try to make a copy. It should work for you... If not you most likely have a problem with the toner motor or the home position sensor for the toner bottle. You may have to call a service rep. to handle that problem. Good Luck...

Minolta ep5000 cspro

What you need to do is to take the new toner out bottle out and close the front door and let the copier come to ready again and then try to reinstall the toner bottle again and run the copier... Basicly, the toner bottle was put in wrong and you have to let the hopper go back to home postion and then reistall the toner bottle
