Question about Hotpoint Ariston Aquarius WD420 Front Load All-in-One Washer/Dryer
We have a hotpoint aquarios washer dryer (WD420). Water keeps collecting in the drum of the machine, we perform a pump out function and the water drains no problem, the pump is not blocked. When a wash cycle is finished the clothes are still sitting in water. These is a buzzing noise coming from the cold water supply which stops when you isolate the water supply to the machine. I'm wondering if the solenoid valves are constantly open and just letting water pass into the machine. Any help on this would be appreciated.
It is possible that the inlet valve is sticking, open
Pull the dispenser drawer right out, and see if you can see water trickling in after it has finished.
If you can, then the valve is not shutting off properly, and you will have to replace it.
The other thing you can do is to remove the top cover, and remove one by one the black hoses that go from the valve to the dispenser, and see if you can see water coming through, if you can then replace valve.
The other possibility is that the valve is getting a permanent feed from the board/timer, to check this you would need a meter to test for voltage.
Plz rate my solution.
