Acer Travelmate LCD screen went dark

It started few months ago when suddently the screen on my laptop would go dark. Moving the lid up and down would immeditekly solve the problem but recently at startup the screen color was vaguely pink for few seconds and is completely dark again.

Even i f I move the lid or press the switch for the lid, nothing happens. I still can see images in the dark screen but very dim. It works fine on an external monitor. I have changed the inverter but nothing.
please help!
