SOURCE: reset factory default HP Mini 1035NR PC Notebook

SMART measures physical attributes of the hard drive. Reformatting won't help that. A bad SMART status alone doesn't mean your drive is failing, but combined with the delayed writing failures and the slow speed, I'd replace it ASAP.

SOURCE: hp compaq laptop how to restore to factory default?

Go to Start/All Programs/HP Tools/HP PC System Recovery

If this doesn't work then try pressing the F10 key multiple times during the bootup to access the recovery console.

If this still doesn't get things fixed then you need to re-install XP

Reset the Printer to Factory Default Settings Restore factory settings Restoring the factory-set defaults returns most of the settings to the factory defaults. It will not reset the page count, tray size, or language. To restore the product to the factory-default settings, follow these steps.
  1. Turn the product off. Disconnect the power cable from the product for 30 seconds and then reconnect.
  2. Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume c02469297.gif button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention c02469293.gif light turns on.

The Power button turns the printer on and off. It takes approximately five seconds for the printer to turn on after you press the Power button. The green light above the Power button flashes when printing is in progress. Caution! Always use the Power button on the front of the printer to turn the printer on and off. Using a power strip, surge protector, or a wallmounted switch to turn the printer on and off may cause premature printer failure

Need password to my netgear router n 300

what is the model #?
Most netgear routers default to a username of "admin" and password is either " admin ", "password" or it is just blank. Those are the defaults unless someone changed it.
If you cant get in you can hold down the reset button on the back for 30 seconds (while it is plugged into power) and that will set it back to factory default settings then one of the above should work.
If this was a help please give me 4 thumbs up as I am trying to build up my rep on this site!

Hello,

Depending on what caused the power outage, you may need to replace the power supply in the server. When outage happen and the power is restore. a power surge can destroy power supplies, especially if not connected to an UPS unit.

There is no "default". Each is unique from the factory and is printed on a tag hanging from the front of the server when it is delivered. You will need to contact HP for help with this.

HP Proliant ML350 G5 wont boot ,just spining.

The G5 Series is fairly new, if you're within warranty, call 1800-okCompaq.

Could be a bad cable, a bad monitor, or bad computer hardware. Any display at all or any beep codes?

On the back, the ml350 G5 will likely have an additional Network interface jack-- this may be labeled ILO. The ILO network connect allows you to use another PC on the same network to access this system (like a remote control via VNC or RDP) even if it won't power up--literally. Inside the ILO page, (you'll need the IP address of the ILO, the default account is administrator, and the default password is listed ona paper tag attached in the rear or on a sticker. If you can get into ILO via web browser: https://ipddress of ilo, you can check the Integrated log, which can shed some light on any failures.

How to reset HP 1320N to factory default

Make sure you record your printer's settings before performing this procedure. Holding down the printer's Green print button briefly will print any configuration information.

a. Turn the printer power off
b. Press and "hold" the green "go" button whilst turning the printer on.
c. Continue to hold the go button for at least 5 seconds and until the amber
attention light turns on (triangle with ! in the middle), this should occur
before 15 seconds elapses.
d. Release the go button.

from http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-2290821.php

The answer byteguy gave above would be the procedure to restore and HP Computer to factory defaults.

Internal led of ML350 server is glowing.......how do i resolve it?

Hi Franceso, plz specify
Is it powering ON ?
Which LED is glowing?
These leds are there on the front panel :

1 Power On/Standby button
2 System power LED
Green = Power on
Amber = System shut down, but power still applied
Off = No power

3 Internal health LED (Wave sign in BOX)
Green = Normal
Amber = System degraded. To identify the component in a degraded state, refer to system board LEDs.
Red = System critical. To identify the component in a critical state, refer to system board LEDs.
Off = Normal (when in standby mode)

4 External health LED (power supply)
Green = Normal
Amber = Power redundancy failure
Red = Critical power supply failure
5 NIC 1 activity LED Green = Network link
Flashing = Network link and activity
Off = No link to network.
6 UID LED Blue = Activated
Flashing = System remotely managed
Off = Deactivated
7 UID button

If it is Internal health led then any internal h/w issue is suspected.
If it is external health led then any power supply or power source related issue is suspected.
Also check the status of the server & its IML (Integrated Management Logs) in ilo (Integrated Lights Out ) if it is configured. (2nd RJ45 port in rear)

Also make sure the cabinet is properly closed.
