It's because psp3000 can not read downloaded games because it is in iso or cso formats, as far as i know, no one haven't hacked games for psp3000, lets pray there will be one!

    it's because psp3000 can not read downloaded games that are iso and cso formats only eboot format, but eboot games are only demo games, sadlly no one has ever find the solution or hacked downloaded games for psp 3000, so for the mean time lets just stick to our UMD's.

    I want free downloads of sony psp3000 memory stick games

    Hi,

    For you to download and play games on your psp, please follow the steps listed herein;

    1. Since you can download directly to your PSP memory stick, you'll have to download to your computer and further transfer to your PSP memory stick.

    2. You'll have to modify the PSP from the official version to a custom version. You can find out how to do this by typing in this search "How to hack PSP to custom firmware"

    You can now do the following to transfer and play games;

    a. Get a good memory stick. I recommend that you get a Memory Stick Duo in at least a 1 GB size, though a 2 GB is even better.

    b. Find and download the PSP games you want. If you don't know where to find the games try a download service. A good one will let you have unlimited downloads for a small one-time fee. You can see the link below for more information.

    c. Unzip the game files and save them somewhere that you can find them easily, like your desktop.

    d. Plug your PSP USB cable into your PSP and your computer.

    e. For PSP games- go the the root directory on your PSP then make a folder called ISO. (If you downloaded PSOne games, go to the root directory on your PSP and find the folder called PSP/GAME.)

    f. Copy the PSP game files into the ISO folder. (Copy PSOne game files into the PSP/GAME folder.)

    Once this is done you can now play games on your PSP.

    V just got PSP3006 for our 7yr old son. Since I have no knowledge about PSP games, thought upgrading the latest version 5.5 will help the PSP to play better. Unfortunately, v r not able to use the memory...

    take the psp 3006 to games store and tell them to put it back in cfw then you can play games by putting them in memory stick and i donot you can do the downgrading yourself because it is a little complex not like the 2000 model and 1000 model where you should just have an pandora battery and magic memory stick and you can do it in your own home but do it in your own risk, its not like that for 3000 model sony have completely changed the concept
