My problem is how to manually configure my china phone N6300
Some say that china phones are hard to use because it has not passed quality control. Is there a truth behind this? Im starting to believe because i cant use the wap of my phone due to the gprs settings not yet configured

Yes, that is correct. china phones are only imitations of the real thing. most china phones doesn't have downloadable themes and doesn't support java. but new releases has wifi and java but these features usually are defective and wifi has low signal reception unlike the original phones. and most c

I'm assuming that you are talking of a dual sim from china. If this is the case, the phone may already be ruined but a technician can try to repair it first. However from experience, most china phones pass out completely hence cannot be revived.
the gprs is both network and phone dependent. For it to work you need two things, first you have to check with your service provider if the gprs/internet have been provided to your account. Second, you will need to have settings for gprs and internet on your phone. For the settings, an option is to call your service provider for them to send the settings on your phone, you can manually configure your phone that is if you know your provider's apn settings, gateway etc. Most service providers have available manual configuration settings on their website.
It's really hard to change themes on china made nokia 5310.. because it does not read .sis and .nth files.. however you can add applications and games... just download it to www.getjar.com, copy the .jar and .jad to the phone and install it there.
