When installing the 6310 all in one printer, at a certain point I get the following message: "The application HPIO Trap Monitor quit unexpectedly. Mac OSX and other applications are not affected. Click Relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send report to Apple." Clicking Relaunch did not change anything. I continued with "HP Setup Assistant", but the "Printer Setup Utility button did not respond. A window announcing successful completion of installation appears. When I tried "Scan to OCR" the following error message appears: "Error. An OCR error occurred; couldn't create file".
be sure that firewall is turn off? after turning off the firewall plz reinstall. if also now working then plz check the Disk. there may be some crack . ok fine thanks
There are two ways for install the Scanner
using only "the driver" and using "HP Photosmart Studio Includes
Support for Mac OS X v10.3, v10.4 and v10.5 (Leopard)" using the driver
not include IRIS OCR software only the driver to scan and thats why say
"An OCR error ocurred, couldn't create file". Installing the HP
Photosmart Studio fix the problem. -- If fixed the problem visit my page www.richardsite.com.mx
