Question about Dryers

1 Answer

Kenmore series 90 dryer sounds like a boot is in it.

The dryer starts out like it has a boot in it or is off balanced but then as it tumbles longer the sound lessens.  seems to be drying fine.

There two rollers that support the rear end of the drum. Most likely one of them has a worn bushing in the roller. You would have to
replace the roller and lube it with a high temp. grease.

I have Kenmore 80 series dryer. The drum is not tumbling, but the belt is fine. It heats up and the vent still blows. Help!

Does it sound like the motor is starting? If the belt is good, but the drum won't spin, it sounds like the motor is gone or the drum has seized.

sounds like your motor is going out for ur tumble tub either that or the belt is coming apart u cN Tke the back off and check the belt if it looks good u might want to think about pulling the motor and taking it to a motor shop and get another one usually thats gonna cost 90 to 150 dollars when u take it tell them to check that motor it sounds like the bearings are going out in the motor

Kenmore Dryer 90 Series will start but suddenly stop...

what starts and stops? the entire dryer or maybe the drum? Do you do anything to make it restart other than pushing the start button? This initially sounds like a temperature switch is opening and resetting after it cools. If you can describe the problem a little more in detail it would help.
