Question about Frigidaire PHSC39EESS Stainless Steel Side by Side Refrigerator
The water dispenser on our Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator (Model PHSC39EESS3)suddenly is leaking all over the place. When we press the dispenser, water comes out in not only the usual stream, but from all over the top compartment. We have no idea how to get behind it or pull it out to see if something is disconnected - is there something we can do, short of a service call?
We had the same problem with water spontaneously pouring out from behind the ice maker dispenser like Niagra falls. Turns out that the water inlet valve was stuck in the open position. This must be a fairly common problem with this model because it took almost two weeks to get the part since it was sold out.
(Part # 241734301)
We were concerned about this happening again, but it appears Frigidaire has upgraded the part (it is not exactly the same as the old one), but you may want to consider getting a "flood safe" water line from Home Depot just to be sure. We were lucky that we were home when the water started gushing. Otherwise, it would have flooded the whole house.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, I appreciate your post!
I see you are asking about a Frigidaire washer leaking but your question is labeled under refrigerators. If your washer is leaking it could be a problem within your motor, water valve, drain pump, or seal inside your washer. If you are speaking about a refrigerator it could be an issue within your water valve, water filter, or an air leak causing condensation.
I would recommend having a professional come out to the home for a proper diagnose and repair. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
