I don't know for sure but my guess could be to do with the disc make sure the disk is clean and try that if it still doe's the same thing then try another disc if you have access to another wind waker thats i can think of sorry :)

My guess is that your Wii doesn't have the ability to read dual layered discs. You'll have to send it in to Nintendo to fix this. There isn't really a warranty issue with this, Nintendo workers just got lazy. That should fix your Brawl problem, but I don't know about Wind Waker
First you should clean the lens in the Gamecube. Do this with a soft white washcloth and water (there is also a lens cleaning solution but try plain water first). Afterwards clean out the disc bay with a q-tip daubed in water just to get contaminants out of the disc area. If it still doesn't work you may need to replace your lens. I've posted a link to a site where you can purchase one if you need to, if you choose that route just remember you'll need the little security bit to open up the Cube. Hope this helps
