There is a banging sound on the left side of the machine that seems to have just started recently. It happens once per rotation of the drum. When I rotate the drum by hand you can see the left side of the dryer bulge out where the drum is contacting.

I had a screw that was protruding from the back side of the dryer baffel and it hit the left side of the dryer during each rotation.

1. I opened the front dryer door.
2. Removed the dryer door by removing the four screws holding the hinge on and the four screws that hold the two white cover plates on the opposite side.
3. Pulled the front housing piece off of its snaps and lifted it up off the hinges that hold the bottom of the housing piece.
4. Then I was able to rotate the drum into a position where I could access the baffel screws and tighten the loose one.

Usually you can check it at the back cover, check if the dryer tub is directly mounted or connected to the motor, then check the rubber stabilizer or spring stabilizer of the motor which is connected to the base. This stabilizers are responsible of the balance of the dryer tub during high speed operation or rotation of the motor. check this stabilizers and replace it if it is defective or weak.

and one thing more, just make sure that when load your wet clothes see to it that you load it at the center of the dryer tub, so that when the motor starts to spin at speed it is in a balance position.

I have a message E100, what do I need to do?

From the Canon manual --

E100
When the scanner motor is started up, the BD input signal does not arrive within a specific period of time.
When the scanner motor is started up, the motor rotation is too fast, and fails to reach a specific revolution within 20 sec at time of deceleration.
While the scanner motor is rotating at a specific speed, the BD input signal cycle is not within a specific range (±2%) for an equivalent of 10 mm (print distance).
While the scanner motor is rotating at a specific speed, the BD input signal cycle is not as indicated (±2%).
During the WMUPR period after the power switch has been turned on or the front cover/left cover has been opened/closed, the drum unit is absent.

Possible cause
: The wiring is faulty (short circuit, open circuit). The laser scanner unit is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. The drum unit is not installed.

That level of repair if it is indeed the wiring requires a qualified tech to resolve.

Tumble dryer dose not rotate

Sounds terminal.

If any bearing becomes too siff to rotate then the may be consequences for the drive, (i.e. perhaps the motor has burnt out).

If there are signs of extreme wear, then perhaps it is time to replace it.

Hi,

Based on what you have described, it sounds like the silver domed cover (where the handle meets the bottom of the chassis) may be damaged, this may mean a new chassis is required.
I would suggest that you contact your retailer for repair advice (if this is still within the warranty period) or contact Bugaboo directly on the website link below:

www.bugaboo.com

Please note that you will need to have your chassis serial number to hand.

I hope this helps.

Knocking during spin and now tripping electricity on startup

It sounds as though you may have a problem with the heater, either it has come loose or been damaged during the noisy section of the spin which could have been a coin or foreign object in the drum, assuming there is no problem with the bearings. It's best if you can test the heater with an electrical test meter having first removed the wires, place one connector on one of the terminals and touch the heater casing with the other, if you get a reading the heater is shorting out. If it is the heater it may have been forced out of the front plate which could have caused a crack in it so check for any damage
