Its possible that you installed a graphic program that upon install it changed the extension of your picture files. An example would be photoshop, This program could change your JPG files to PSD format upon install.
You can download a software
program that can convert your pictures from the PSD ext. to JPEG. Once such program is (Easy Graphic Converter), It is Free... Another excellent program is Graphic Workshop. I think that one is trial but it has a time limit.
If you don't want to go that route you can go into your file ext. settings and change it to where a jpg file will be opened with another program other than PhotoShop. This might solve your problem.
To get to this screen, you can go into ( My Documents ) click on ( tools) at the top on the menu bar. Then click on ( Folder Options ). From there click in ( File Types ). Then find your JPG ext.
and it will tell you what program opens your jpg files. If it says CS3, change it to something else like WIndows Picture
and Fax Viewer or something else.
