LG Gas Stacking Dryer

I have a stacking LG gas dryer, and when I turn it on, the "check filter" button on the top right blinks. When I start the dryer, the dryer is in cool down mode causing it to dry longer than normal. I have cleaned the lint pan, but cannot figure out what is continuing to go wrong. Any suggestions on what is the problem and how to reset the dryer so that it heats at full power?

my LG stacking dryer is brand new. first time using it. the check filter light came on. i forgot to put the filter back in after cleaning it. i start the dryer without it and a loud clanking noise follow right after. i check the vent/hose behind it. it's clean. can't figure it out. noise is still present.

Check the vent and make sure it is not plugged with lint. Make sure the vent hose is clear. The light is telling you something blocking the airflow. You might not be able to see it easily.

SOURCE: LG Gas Stacking Dryer

The check filter light comes on every load to remind you to clean the lint filter. Cooling only happens when that light is flashing not when it's on solid. If this is a gas dryer check the exhaust hose and vent on the outside of the house. If it is blocked it will not let the unit get to the correct temp due to cycling.

How do I stack my euro tech dryer?

When stacking your washer and dryer, your dryer should always be placed on top of your washer. To protect your dryer from damage and to make it easier to move, place a piece of cardboard on the floor and tilt your dryer on its back onto the cardboard.

How do you unstack a Bosch Axxis WTA dryer from a Bosch Axxis WFL 2050 washer?

You do not state the type of stacking kit installed on your Bosch washer. The installation instructions of one of the stacking kits is found at the site Assemby Instructions Bosch Axxis Stacking Kit /WTZ11310.pdf . First remove the front concealment strip to expose the front of the mounting kit. Gently pry with a wooden tool to prevent damage. Once the it is exposed, there are two clip inserts in front of the dryer feet that must be removed. Once these are removed, you pull or slide the dryer forward to release them from the stacking kit and simply lift the dryer off of the stacking kit and the washer. The stacking kit itself is attached to the washing machine with four screws that must be removed to separate the kit from the washer top. And with that, your dryer and washer are separated!

But after separation there are two additional problems that may be bothersome to you. The first is that you now have mounting holes in the top of the washer that are exposed and the second is that the feet on your dryer may need to be replaced as parts of the feet may have been tossed during installation of the stacking kit and may need to be replaced.

The assembly instructions above show only the basic stacking kit. Some kits included a slide that pulls out to allow for a handy tray but the installation or disassembly is nearly the same.

Want to know if I can stack a kenmore elit gas dryer on a kenmore elite washer and on top of a 10 inch pedistal or will it be too tall?

The appliances were not designed to be stacked so I would not attempt it if anything I would build a shelf (ledge) to put the dryer on, then bracket it to the wall but be careful of the height especially with a gas dryer and be sure to have plenty of space for airflow. Good luck

Stacking the washer and dryer

Been a while since I did one, but as I recall: Two side pieces secure to top of washer with peel off tape and a screw into the top at the very back of the washer's top. Dryer sets on top of washer with back legs sliding into the stack kit side parts. Front rail holds front dryer legs, secured by one screw on each side into stack kit side pieces after dryer is set on top of washer.

Stacking Frigidaire dryer on washer using stacking kit 5303937141

You have to take the top off the washer a put it aside. You no longer need the top. Then you put the two angle brackets on the front top of the washer. this is where the front of the dryer will attach. The back of the washer either has or needs the brackets put on the top (been a long time since I did this). Remove the leveling legs from the dryer. Then lift the dryer and slide it on top of the washer with the back touching the top of the washer and the front about 2 inches higher than the washer top. The back of the dryer slides into the back brackets which are on the top back of the washer. Then lower the front of the dryer and the two "L" brackets on the front top of the washer slide through cracks into the dryer. Pop off the two plastic plugs on the dryer bottom front and place a screw in each one to hold the unit in place. Replace the plastic caps and you are done.
