Question about Indesit 24 in. D63S Free-standing Dishwasher

2 Answers

Indesit IDL705 When I turn the knob to the cycle I require, switch the power on and then press the start button nothing happens and normally the first two green lights on the left hand set of lights flashes. These lights refer to both the timer function for the 3hour and 6 hour icons below the lights and the soak and detergent parts of the cycle respectively. Absolutely nothing happens. If you try and reset and start again very very occasionally some sort of pump or soak cycle seems to start but then stops soon after and then on trying to reset again nothing happens. The water inlet is on and the filter is fine. The first time we noticed it was not working the tray at the bottom was full of water but had not washed the dishes. I had to manually remove the water from teh tray to get the dishwasher out and check all hoses, filters etc etc

Modifying a wash cycle in progress:

If a mistake was made during the wash cycle selection process it is possible to change the cycle, provided that it has only just begun: open the door, taking care to avoid the escaping steam, and press and hold the ON/OFF button; the machine will switch off with a long beep. Switch the machine back on using the ON/OFF button and select the new wash cycle using the SELECT WASH CYCLE button; start the cycle by closing the door.

Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher LIghts are blinking....

I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.

Try turning off the breaker to it for a few min… and then turn it back on that might reset it.

IDL705 dishwasher showing error code

Indesit IDL700 first two green lights flashing and cycle stops with dirty water left in the machine. CAUSE - blocked or jammed drain pump. SOLUTION - First remove all the filters inside the machine, syphon or sponge up all the water in the sump and check for any obstruction over the fine grill at the very bottom. (we had a pistachio shell covering the hole!). If this doesn't cue it you will need to gain access to the pump. First, turn off the power. Gently lift the machine onto it's side (be ready for some water to spill out!). Remove the bottom plate (6 screws) and disconnect the sump float switch. Remove the single screw retaining the pump to the bottom of the machine and rotate to remove. You should be able to see the rotor blades. With your finger check to see if the pump rotates freely. To dismantle the pump, remove the 3 screws and separate the two halves. Our pump was jammed with an apple stalk!. Reassemble and connect any cables. Apparently this is a known problem with these machines and can be prevented by assembling the filter system correctly and pre-rinsing plates etc. before placing in the dishwasher.
