The smv says no codec and i must download someting X(TM)

There are several ways to get Codecs. The easiest way to get most codecs is to download the latest versions of Windows Media Player, the Windows codec Pack, and Quicktime. If you still get a codec error, find out which file type, specifically, is giving you a codec error message (AVI, MPEG, etc.) and do a search for a free codec for that file type.
