Need Help with Verizon LG VX8100 VCAST Memory

I need help clearing my memory for VCAST with Veriozn network. Everytime I try to launch my VCAST Video it comes up with a fuel gauge that says "memory full" I have tried erasing pictures and flix but still keep getting memory full. My memory is at 70%? Verizon just tells me to bring my phon in and have a SW load, but I have the most current SW and have tried this, and still no luck. The only thing they can tell me at Verizon is to erase my whole phone and try again, yea right, I have way too much valuable information on there to do a phone reset? Any one have any suggestions? Thanks!

When i try to download music to my memory card from Vcast, it looks like it's downloading but then at the end it says ''License Acquistion Failure.'' I call Verizon technical assistance and the guy told me...

Right okay. Try the following methods.

Method 1) Take the memory card out and attach it to your computer (if you havent got the right sized card for the computer, get a memory card reader for about £1 otherwise you can do this by plugging your phone into the computer using the cable you got with the phone, sometimes you have to select an option on your phone to allow it to open the memory card, simply read the manual for assistance) and copy all your music, videos etc from it to your computer and format it. (this can be done by going to "My Computer" and right click your memory card icon and select "Format" - this will delete everything but you have already copied it to your computer so you dont have to worry, just copy it all back when it has finished.

Method 2) If you have done the last method and it hasnt worked or you simply dont want to use this options, try downloading the Opera Mobile Browser from, open the internet on your phone and goto this address: and type this code in the box if it asks: 3334 - you will be taken to the place to download Opera web browser. When the download has completed, it will be saved as a game or an application, open Opera Mini Browser that you download and goto the page where you download music (Verizon) and try downloading, sometimes its the phone that doesnt allow you to download, not the memory card.

Method 3)

Plug your memory card into your computer and when it pops up with your memory card, goto and download the music you wish to listen to and copy it to the memory card, you now can listen to the music you have downloaded.

It seems your memory card is fine, the service that "Verizon" is giving you is not working properly. A license doesnt interfere with your memory card but it does with the website. My best conclusion would be that the site isnt working properly for you and anything you try to do will not work as all your hardware is working properly but the Verizon site isnt allowing you to download, this could be caused by your type of phone, the amount of downloading. It could be millions of reasons so i would recommend arguing the hell with Verizon and saying your memory card is fine (if you can access the files on your memory card, theres nothing wrong with it!!!) and that the service isnt working. If they dont do anything, just do the second method, this will allow you to download ALL the music you could ever want for free and you can just copy it onto your card. - if you need ANY help what so ever, dont hesitate to email me at

Hope this helps,

Kazaa music for Verizon compatability

As far as downloading songs with the internet, yes, VCast is your only choice for Verizon.
However, you are free to sideload your .mp3 formatted files from your computer to your phone via a microSD card, or data cable, no matter where they came from.
If you're going to use a memory card, you'll need to insert it into the phone and format it (its under Menu > Settings > Memory usually). Then make sure that you only load the files into the music folder for them to work.

My LG Voyager won't recieve or send pictures, videos, or sounds.

Lg envy music download says no available space

Go to Menu, then under the "Settings & Tools" section, choose option 8 (Memory). Choose option 2 (Phone Memory), then option 1 (Phone Memory Usage). This will tell you the available MB on your phone.

Or, go to Memory, choose option 3 (Card Memory), then Card Memory Usage.

If you have 0MB left on both, then you will need to delete some ringtones, wallpaper, music, etc. to clear up some space.

If you still have room, you will have to take the phone to a Verizon store. More than likely if this is the case, the phone has a glitch in the downloading. You may of downloaded a virus while downloading music/ringtones/wallpaper.

Get pictures and video off phone to the computer

Preparation ? if an external Micro SD external memory card is to be used as the desired music/video/picture repository on the W755, install the card in the W755 behind the battery. Then go to SETTINGS & TOOLS ? MEMORY ? CARD MEMORY ? FORMAT and format the new card. Caution: reformatting the card will wipe out all contents on the SD card. Download/install free Motorolla Handset USB Driver Installer onto the PC (execute ?.msi? file). Download/install free VCast/Rhapsody software (no need to actually sign in or use the proprietary Rhapsody service). Start the VCast/Rhapsody software. Turn on cell phone (works with W755 and may work with other Verizon ?music phones? such as LG Chocolate, but the latter was not tested). Connect phone to PC ? connect USB cable to PC?s USB port first, then connect USB cable to phone . Be patient, it may take a minute to fully ?connect? in the phone?s display. Go to ?Sources? section of VCast/Rhapsody GUI screen ? the phone will register as a directory title using a name roughly like ?VCast xxx.? Windows Explorer will also show a ?VCast? drive/directory device. Files can be selected and dragged to and from source and target directories. At this point various options exist regarding music, picture, video management: 1.) The VCast/Rhapody software can be used to manage music, picture, and videos between the PC and phone. Again, no need to use the VCast service, just the software offline. 2.) Alternatively, other music management software such as Media Monkey (a personal favorite) can be used to move music, create playlists, etc. ? NOTE: Leave VCast/Rhapsody software running in the background as a means to ?connect.? It is best to start VCast, then plug in phone, then start other media management software so that the media management software will benefit from the connection (usually with a directory name using some variation of ?VCast.? Then use the alternative media management software as usual. Please note, this is a generalization based on success using basic software like Media Monkey, for example.
