As far as I know, the original zd8000 operating system is Windows XP. If you have Windows 7 installed, then you need to get Windows 7 disc and its product key. If you need the Windows XP reinstallation media, then you can use HP Windows XP reinstallation disc only (for example: HP Windows XP Professional with SP2 disc).
you have to first diagnose if the issue is with the hardware or the software.
You can do that by checking if you are getting the lines in BIOS or at the HP logo. if yes you have to get the screen replaced
Else you can simply reinstall the drivers
Did you reinstall the drivers for the device? Check the Device Manager for your system and see if Windows sees the wireless device. If you have a red X, the device is disabled; if you have either an unknown device or the wireless device with a yellow dot with a black exclamation point, then either the driver is not installed, or the driver is improperly installed.
