Re: My HP Pavilion not started (no power)
Incorrect shutdown with low battery will always cause problems....
first of all youre gonna have to put some charge into the battery...
then..press the power button to startup and wait for activity...lights , sounds etc..then press and hold power button until you hear pc shutdown.then restart...you may have to choose startup in option screen like start with last good config etc but now it will be back on.

What does it say in Network and Sharing Center? Local or internet? I am trying to sort out your question, The wireless is on and connected on the laptop and you cannot load IE or other broswer, Google Chrome for instance? I would reboot the laptop to reset. Your wireless access point is a ...What? Remove power from both, plug in wireless device first and allow selt-test to complete and plug in computer, without battery, reboot. Is the wireless secure , need a security code/password? Do you see the SSID of your wireless?OR, Disable wireless adapter on the laptop and enable. OR,Release IP, renew IP in CMD prompt. respond to this post to recieve further info.
Of the two LEDs at the left front of the notebook, if the left-most one is blinking, then the notebook is in standby. If the left-most one is off and the one to the right of it is blinking, then the notebook is in a low battery condition and quite likely the notebook had initiated hibernation. If you had the AC adapter plugged-in for some time and the low-battery condition persists, then likely the adapter has failed. Normally you would just press the power button to restore from hibernation but if the system had initiated hibernation due to a critical low-battery condition, the system may not respond unless you have inserted a fully-charged battery pack. Here is an excerpt from page 38 (Chapter 3 Power) of the HP Pavilion DV5000 User Manual....
*If the system initiated hibernation because of a critical low-battery condition, connect external power or insert a
charged battery pack before you press the power button. (The system may not respond if the discharged battery pack
is the only power source.)
Connecting the laptop to your network using a network cable, does this solve your Internet problems?
Does this works without the Internet connection dropping out?
If the wireless connection has a low signal, try positioning the wireless router or the laptop to get a better signal strength.
Also try reinstalling your wireless driver.
Your wireless network card is powering off after idle
click start, right click computer, go to properties look for device manager click it. in the list look for network or network controller. click the plus expand it. you will see wireless network adapter, double click your wireless card, look through tabs and find where it says turn off device. take the check mark out of it or disable it
try connecting your dsl modem to the router and connect another cable between router and the computer
make a wired connection
if you can let me know we can connect to your system remotely and can fix any issue you r facing with it
The first thing I would try is a USB wireless adapter. If this works it may be a hardware problem. If this does not work it is likely a software problem. Make sure the interfaces are not disabled in the connections window. Make sure you are using a good cable, test it elsewhere.
