Oh, you want to format it? So it may cause problems. However, to delete everything, right-click it and choose Format...

To add songs, you can sync it with Windows Media Player. Have songs on that first.

My computer system doesnot play sound

Its not difficult. First of all, right click my computer and click properties. Then go to hardware and then to device manager. If your media player is showing error that the driver is not found, then it will show red/yellow mark at "sound video and game controllers". If it is red/green, right click it and select update driver. It will ask for motherboard cd. insert the cd, the computer will automatically take the required driver. Then its is done.

Uploading problem

If you have got a usb cable insert it in your mp3 player and the usb port of your computer.
In My Computer a new removable disk icon appears.
Open the drive and paste the song files and directories in the disk.
Now click Safely remove hardware button in the taskbar.choose Safely remove hardware and the computer shows safe to remove hardware.take out the usb cable from both the ends.Switch on the player and listen to your songs.

Problem

When you connect it to the computer your mp3 player should show in "My Computer", called "Removable Disk".

To get to it click on "Start" then click on "My Computer" then look for something called "Removable Disk" once you've found it double-click on it then it will open your mp3 player and show you all the data on it.

Lexar LDP-400 MP3 player (128MB capacity

Formatting the Disk maybe solve it. But if the disk itself is working. Go to Start-> Run -> type "cmd" -> format F: then press "y" and another "y" if it asks you again if the system couldn't read the drive itself. Then this means that your storage on the MP3 Player (that shows as F on your computer) is now broken.
