Question about Toshiba e-Studio162D Copier
I have changed the tonr in the Sharp copier AR-5127 and get a error code "call for service H2-00" can somebody tell me what or haw do I reset this error code?
It is a heater code. The thermostat has blown and resetting the code could cause a fire, but it probably won't do anything, the part will need to be replaced

1-Thermistor open detection
2-Fusing unit not installed
# - interrupt - C - interrupt
14 - start

SOURCE: Sharp AR-5127 H2-00 code reset
H2-0 Fusing unit temperature error
H4-0 The fusing unit doesn't heat up.
***ALWAYS DISCONNECT POWER WHEN WORKING ON MACHINE***
You have to reset fuser errors with simulation 14. Push P * C * then 14 then Start (the button you use to make copies) and it should reset the code. If not then replace the fuser.
SM 5-1 should turn the lamp on. If lamp blinks on and off it is the thermistor, if it does not it is the lamp, but check the contacts on the lamp/fuser -- they have been known to erode.
Also check thermal fuse, if defective replace.
