Filter light keeps flashing

The red filter light on the front panel keeps flashing. I cleaned the filter. What will shut it off? Will it hurt anything if it keeps flashing?

Re: filter light keeps flashing

The light flashes after a certain amount of run time. It is a reminder to check the filter to see if it needs cleaning. Once you have checked/cleaned the filter and reinstalled it, press the filter button for 5 seconds and the light should go out.

Re: filter light keeps flashing

It is only going to hurt your brain if it keeps flashing. The unit simply doesn't recognize that the filter is clean. The little light can be incredibly annoying, though. I would recommend performing a power cycle. If that doesn't work, make sure you replaced the filter correctly.

Enigma SLR61-GW. System runs for about 30 mins and then shuts down and a status light blinks 4 times.

Open the front end of the blower.
You will find tow filters that slide out.
Clean them with water and replays them.

Go to the outside one, take a hosepipe and run a strong stream of water thru the radiator until its clean.

This will solve your problem.

Good luck.

Hello, I have a Sharp CV-10MH that will run fine for about 2 minutes and then shut off and flash all of the front panel lights. I have done all maintenance possible -- clean filters, drained the lines,...

The problem you describe is a mechanical one. The compressor is overheated and stop to prodect from burn out. You need to check the freon charge, and the condenser fan if they are ok,
Also the thermal relay have to be check if it clik stable.

Normally that means needs to be cleaned. The air filter needs to be cleaned, and if you have a air compressor, blow it out and clean it as good as you can. Also of unit comes out easily, you can also hose it out, and let it dry completely with help of using air compressor to blow out excess water, then run on fan only to help dry, then once completely dry, then turn to cold. But bottom line here it is most likely dirty.I hope this helps you. Thanks Mike from fixya.

I have a rennai energysaver 556ftr heater, and the filter and on light keeps flashing red, i've taken out the filter and cleaned it, but still the lights are flashing. what's wrong?

If you removed the filter to clean it, while the unit was ON, that may be the problem. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit from wall outlet. Leave unplugged for 15 minutes. Remove and replace the filter. After 15 minutes has elapsed, plug the unit into the wall outlet and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. The unit should have reset itself and reverted back to the original factory default settings. In which case, you can change the settings to what you desire.

Just remember to always turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF, when removing the filter to clean and replace it.

Hope this helped you solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

My Drayton Digistat RF3 boiler control is not working. The thermostat module indicates it is sending a signal, but the unit beside the boiler has a red alarm LED lit. I've removed the batteries and turned...

I found that this solved the problem hope it helps you too.

1. Turn off the power supply to the Digistat SCR (receiver unit)
and leave for 5 seconds.
2. Turn on power to SCR unit and check red light is on.
3. Press override button No.2 and check the green light comes
on and boiler fires.
4. Press & hold down button No.1 (Keep depressed), then
press No.2 and keep depressed. {The Red LED light will flash
a couple of times and then it will go out}
5. Now release both the buttons – {the two LED lights should
come back on}
6. Get the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit and stand two metres away
from the SCR unit with the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit in your hand.
7. Remove the battery cover and fit the batteries.
8. The Red LED light on the SCR will now flash for approx. 7
9. This confirms that the radio signal is being sent and
10. The Digistat+2RF/+3RF and the SCR are now successfully
linked by a dedicated RF address.
