Fatal error light pattern pls help with the hp laserjet 1160

The problem is the Attention, Ready, and GO LEDs are on solid. i already try to solve this problem with the hp support but it still doesn't work. pls help. thanks

Check if paper is in the printer because that may cause the print to show that light or maybe the hardware part are not properly fit to the printer

According to your "secondary" light pattern your printer has a Carousel motor error.
You've already power cycled it to no avail.
The next step is to get the motor replaced.

Fetal error on HP laser jet 1160


Hi naseeh83: Here your problem. Fuser error. The fuser has a malfunction. Try these steps. 1. Unplug the printer for at least ten minutes. 2. Verify that the fuser connector and thermistor connector are both firmly seated in the ECU 3. Perform a heating element resistance check. 4. If the resistance readings are correct, but the error persists, replace the fuser. You may have to call a certified HP technician to repair this printer. Hope this helps.

Hi,

If all the three lights are on, then the issue is with the board (formatter board to be precise). Press the green button to check if there is a difference in the light pattern, the first light pattern is called primary light and after pressing the green button, the format changes to secondary light pattern, please find below the link to check the different light pattern for primary and secondary light pattern.

shivachadra is here.....just i faced this problem "Attention, Ready, and GO LEDs are on solid"
and i got solution in troubleshooting....just vi refixe the connetion of laser scanner........its the error of comunication between laser scanner and formatter....
