Question about Dishwashers

Dishlex global 300. ECO light flashing.

I set the dishwasher as normal (on super). i went back to check a little later and the ECO light was flashing. the machine was making a humming noise as it does when it is operational, however it wasnt operating. i tried switching off at the wall and then back on but it does the same thing. tried pushing the start/pause and the programme buttons simultaneously but nothing changed.
when i opened the door there was no water in there (luckily...) but there were soap suds in the bottom of the dishwasher.

Yeah I have the same problem. We rang a repair man and he said it might be the pump. I'm pulling it apart so if I find anything I'll let you know. The same thing happened a while ago, we had it repaired and he said some holes were blocked around the inside of the door.

If that fails then try emptying the over flow try found behind the kick panel below the door. 2 phillips screws will be found either side under plastic screw covers, behind kick panel you will find the cover for all internals remove a total of 6 screws from these covers, then with a torch you will see the internal workings of the machine. located at the bottom of it all is a small kidney shaped tray that may have some/alot of water. this is the over flow tray. empty by soaking up the liquid with a sponge. reassemble then try starting it.

Maybe! I pulled the dishwasher out, checked both hoses for blockages, hosed the inside out (particularly around the door seals). There is a plastic nozzle screwed into the roof inside. I took it out and it was clogged, so I cleaned all the slots out, put it back in and connected the dishwasher, and it works! I don't know if your problem is the same, but it's worth a try!

Worked as str82dabank explained. The tray has a float that engages a micro switch when the tray has filled with water. The switch overrides the pump cutout and it keeps cycling~ empty the dish pump stops.....sweet!

Dishwasher starts then pauses and drains.

Fixed! I had the issue where the cycle would start, the KUDS30IXBL8 would hum 4-5 times and then drain. Plastic folk pieces jammed in the disposer. These instructions took a few minutes (only 5 screws and a couple clips) to figure out how to take it apart, and it only took 60 seconds to put back together. Dishlex Global 300 Dishwasher - ECO Light flashing - Manual indicates incorrect fill level - Manual suggests hold ECO button for 10 Seconds. No success. Have tried pressing and holding buttons - no...

eco light sometimes indicates that water has got into the bottom panel of the machine. A float switch is underneath to protect the machine ( and your kitchen floor from being flooded. ( Either from overfilling or a leak) If you tilt the machine backwards see if any water runs out. If the machine restarts , then you will have sourced the problem. Should the flashing start again later, you may have a water leak underneath. Also check the lower door gasket to make sure its clean. If the gasket is dirty, sometimes water builds up behind the gasket and drips over the front of the tub into the bottom panel underneath causing this symptom. When cleaning the gasket, be very carefull!! The edges of the door at the bottom are razor sharp..

Hi just read your posting. Now the reason these dishwashers flash ECO is because there is either water in the bottom tray or your drain pump is open circuit. Is the machine making a pumping noise when it is flashing the ECO light,or is it completely silent? Please reply on additional information and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.

When I switch on my dishwasher setting it at normal wash cycle it appears to start as normal then after few seconds goes onto to Eco 45 c wash - the light flashes but nothing happens i.e. no water comes...

you may want to check and clear the pump
you have something slowing your drain
but for giggles make sure your float valve is free to go up and down like it should
all dishwashers attempt to drain first
so you have a conflict between the float position and the pump sensor

Dishwasher error codes please help

I too had this problen today. Printed off a manual from the Hotpoint website. Very helpful troubleshoot section. Anyway, flashing eco and fast lights and beeping sound indicates 'water feed pipe blocked' You need to check the water inlet connections on your tap. However, when we pulled it out we noticed the blue water inlet pipe was slightly kinked. Straightened this out and hey presto! It works fine again. How this happens when its worked ok for 18 months will never know but still. Try it! hope this was helpful...shewoo

FDW60 flashing 'eco' light error

I had this problem and discovered it was due to a leak. The float switch attached to the bottom panel was operating. Pull out the mains plug, tip the machine on it's side (water will escape so get a mop ready), remove the bottom panel, 3 screws front and back, disconnect the connector from the float switch. Tape the connecter up out of the way and stand your machine back up. Try running it now. If you have a leak somewhere then you will get a puddle under the machine. If no leak, then I would suspect the float switch itself.
