Dishlex global 300. ECO light flashing.

By jo_jo_edward on Jan 16, 2009

i set the dishwasher as normal (on super). i went back to check a little later and the ECO light was flashing. the machine was making a humming noise as it does when it is operational, however it wasnt operating. i tried switching off at the wall and then back on but it does the same thing. tried pushing the start/pause and the programme buttons simultaneously but nothing changed.
when i opened the door there was no water in there (luckily...) but there were soap suds in the bottom of the dishwasher.

Same Problem

Jan 16, 2009

-   Yeah I have the same problem. We rang a repair man and he said it might be the pump. I'm pulling it apart so if I find anything I'll let you know. The same thing happened a while ago, we had it repaired and he said some holes were blocked around the inside of the door.-   davidmargy

if that fails then try emptying the over flow try found behind the kick panel below the door. 2 phillips screws will be found either side under plastic screw covers, behind kick panel you will find the cover for all internals remove a total of 6 screws from these covers, then with a torch you will see the internal workings of the machine. located at the bottom of it all is a small kidney shaped tray that may have some/alot of water. this is the over flow tray. empty by soaking up the liquid with a sponge. reassemble then try starting it.

Maybe! I pulled the dishwasher out, checked both hoses for blockages, hosed the inside out (particularly around the door seals). There is a plastic nozzle screwed into the roof inside. I took it out and it was clogged, so I cleaned all the slots out, put it back in and connected the dishwasher, and it works! I don't know if your problem is the same, but it's worth a try!
