Do you have digital tv that pick up local channels on rabbit ears? If you do, something in the DTT 901 menu is set wrong.

Does my 2004 mitsubishi require premium gas or can it use regular

alot of manufactures say to use premium . its not etched in stone though try regular gas if the car runs badly then go back to premium also i would suggest to use stations like exxon/texaco/amocobp these stations add an extra additive to there gasoline that discount stations may not use.

Can i get regular tv

To get local over the air channels, you will need to connect an antenna as your signal source instead of Cable on the back of the set. Then you will have to go into the TV menu for signal source and select the Antenna/air option. Then you will have to go to the auto program/scan menu and scan in the stations. This may take a few minutes.
Now you can watch local stations for free.
I believe the FCC "must carry" rule require cable to carry local stations also.

Not receiving my local cable stations

You need to make sure the TV is set for "cable" tuning and not "standard" or "air." (If you are getting only local off-air channels and no cable stations at all, be sure you have a good cable and connection to the set. Normally, even if the TV is set for "air" you will get the low-number cable channels 2-13.) This is usually a selection through the TV's set-up menu. With a universal remote, it may be difficult or even impossible to get to all the menu entries. Most replacement remotes don't support all the original remote functions. Try with yours and good luck. Once you get the TV set to the proper tuning, you should have all your cable channels.

VHF stations WILL NOT display. UHF stations WILL display. Have tried both the remote and the controls on the TV. What is the solution?

a no ufh channels would be a setting in the menu, but when your vhf channels go, the problem is typically the tuner itself, or the band switching ic. could be either. you will need a schematic to know what voltage is supposed to be on the pins.
