Make sure that the program used to monitor your wireless card doesn't have a virus, or with windows, either you have to let windows enable your wireless or you have to use the program.. if you have both trying that could be the problem.

Wont accept my printer on this lap top ,my printer ran ok on my old pc but cant get it to work on my new lap top.keeps saying its not compatable

I think that is because your old pc was a different operating system than your laptop. So the printer might not support newer operating systems.

Volume on computer wont work

I found many references to this issue but I am not sure which may apply to your problem. Here is a set of steps to follow from another site: (Assumes Vista and Realtek)

  • Open Vista’s Control Panel (Window | Control Panel)
  • Open the Realtek Audio Manager (not “Sound”)
  • In the navigation bar in the far right, there is a little yellow folder icon. It is just below “Device advanced settings” and above “ANALOG”. Click the folder icon.
  • Click “Disable front panel jack detection” so that a yellow check mark shows up. Hit “OK”, and close the Realtek HD Audio Manager. That should re-enable the sound.

Installing xp operating system

If it's not detecting the hard drive a 64 bit CD isn't going to help! You need to remove and reseat the hard drive and if it still won't recognize the drive, seriously consider the possibility that your drive has failed. Reasonably priced replacements are readily available.

Hi you may need to install the correct codecs. If you do not have the right ones then window media is useless.
