Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook
I have tohiba taptop with vista os now i have format the laptop and download the xp os now the problem is that sound is supporting the xp
I've had a similar problem trying to revert a friend's laptop back to XP... i got everything working but the sound, unfortunately, XP does not widely support HD audio, so there aren't XP drivers for the new sound cards in laptops.
I'd recommend just stickin with vista : /

Tips for a great answer:
Dec 29, 2010 | Toshiba L505-S6951 (PSLL0U-01H00D) PC...
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, list
of Dealers for spare part supplies and Driver
Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
If Toshiba does not list an XP driver, then there is not a specific driver. Windows no longer supports XP but you may find one on the web somewhere.
I hope this helps.
