When i press the buttons on the screen of my MX 3000 they sometimes get stuck (20%) of the time. The only way to depress them is by hitting the exit button a few times. This is very annoying especially when trying to enter in numbers because it just repeats the number over and over. If you happen to know how to fix this problem I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Brian

Take out the battery and reboot, or press and hold main for 10 seconds and reset to factory settings. If that does not work I can help you with more testing. Visit my site (www.totalcontrolremotes.com) and I will help.
I would bet it's the graphics your using. If your using a high resolution graphic as a button, the remote may have trouble due to memory limitations. You need to drop the resolution on the graphics if that is the case.
Let's eliminate the chance of a faulty remote by using one of the factory installed templates. If you still have the same response time problems contact me for some advanced troubleshooting.

They do not repair the MX 3000 remote anymore but they will replace it for $400 when you send them yours. We have some replacment screens and can repair it for $300 even on pre 2005 models.

All right. This remote is very complex. But if you feel it, you can try to open it to unstock the key. It's look like a pieces a very soft platic where all the key are bonded together. If you don't want to do it, just get a cheap universal remote control and program it while you make fix your nice one by a pro. it's alway good to have another remote just in case....
