ice OK. No water through door. get water flow OK at disconect for door removal. There is a blockage in the water tube @ 3 to 4" in from were water normally comes out of dispenser. I suspect the line is frozen.

I dodn't know how to thraw it other than doing a complete defrost of the freezer

. I tried a blow dryer on the coils of plastic tubing on the fridge side.

It works now. I don't know if was turning down the freezer to #3 (its still 5 F)
or if it was running a blow dryer up the dispenser or poking a wire up the tube. it took a few hours though.

No ice, it has water on door but no ice.

There are two sides to a water control valve. The ice maker side and the water dispenser side. So what I am saying is the problem could be the ice maker side of the dual water control valve. Is there still old ice in the ice maker? If not then pour tap water into ice maker. If after the water freezes and then dumps the ice into the ice bin that will indicate a defective water control valve, If ice maker does nothing but hold old shrinking ice cubes this would mean you have a defective ice maker. Let me know your model number and I will look up the part numbers. I will be here should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

Not making Ice. Appears no water entering Ice making chamber even though water is at the door.

The water valve has two coils one for chilled water at the door and the other for the ice maker. Sounds as if the ice maker coil is bad. Hope this helps you to find the problem.

The ice maker is not geting water to make ice but the water is coming from the door

Your fill tube may be clogged or iced up. You may have a faulty water valve.

I have model #TFX25PRYAWW. Ice maker is not filling with water. Water still operates through door dispenser.

NUMBER 800 is your water valve. It has 2 solenoids. One for water and one for ice. I suspect your ice solenoid is on the blink. It could also be dripping slowly like a faucet and clogging like a stalagmite the ice maker fill nozzle. The only other thing in the ice box that controls that water valve is the ice maker itself. if the water valve is ok then the ice maker ain't getting the power to that water valve solenoid.

Water is not geting to the ice cube maker, it is

Look inside the water tube to the icemaker. It may be frozen. If so, thaw it out.
If not frozen, replace the water valve.

Ice Maker

First, are you getting water at the door? If not, the filter is installed wrong or there is some packing on the filter you didn't remove.
